Another great voyage on Seabourn, but….
"Our last trip on the Sojourn had been the last two segments of the 2023 World Cruise from the Seychelles to Barcelona, and we now have about 200 days with Seabourn. We still really enjoyed the trip, and we’re not disappointed or complaining - we have booked another cruise on Sojourn in the summer, and a longer one again next year...."Read More

Another great voyage on Seabourn, but….

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Seabourn Sojourn

We joined the Sojourn in LA and disembarked in Taipei at the end of the second segment of the World Cruise 72 days later. Our last trip on the Sojourn had been the last two segments of the 2023 World Cruise from the Seychelles to Barcelona, and we now have about 200 days with Seabourn. We rated the 2023 voyage overall a 9.5/10. This years we would rate an 8.5+ to 9/10, still excellent. Why lower? ...

It was a wonderful cruise, we visited some remote islands which we found very interesting, the lectures were informative relating to the region. The food at all of the restaurants was very good with a good variety, the wines were of excellent quality and we particularly like the caviar service which was available 24/7! The premium restaurant was very good, no cover charge, was an added bonus, ...

Inconsistency and chaos mingled with some rewards

Without a doubt, we had a great cruise on Sojourn Oct-Dec 2018, pretty much flawless, so we booked a 94 day cruise( Auckland to Cape Town). Total disappointment, the entire cruise was fraught with inconsistency in service and chaos in dining rooms and bars. To say the least, we were disappointed in Seabourn Service standard not even 1 star. These are the highlights (tongue in cheek): Bar ...

Having tried Seabourn's Odyssey last December in the Caribbean, we were blown away by how fabulous it was. We like sea days, and decided to try the Sojourn's 18 day LA-Hawaii-Tahiti cruise. We had some trepidation, because we thought our wonderful experience the first time around might have been a one-off. No worries. This was even better. This talented crew knocks themselves out for you. ...

It has been a little over 2 months since we disembarked from a perfect Seabourn Sojourn cruise. From Opera Night, complete with extraordinary Mardi Gras masks provided at dinner, daily trivia competitions, and to a spectacular Halloween party (just to mention a few highlights) the memories just keep flooding in. But aside from those special events, there was one that will never be forgotten. Our ...

After 12 other cruises on 9 other lines, this was our first time on Seabourn. We completed 2 segments on the 2014 World Cruise, from Los Angeles to Hong Kong. Some things on the Sojourn were wonderful; some not so much... The Ship: Beautiful and well-maintained. The design is sleek, modern with a flavor of mid-century. One of the things you pay for in the luxury pricing is the space. Imagine an ...

My husband and I joined friends we'd previously met on a smaller ship (Seabourn Spirit departing Singapore to Dubai in 2008). We decided to try the newer, larger ship the Seabourn Sojourn and thoroughly loved it. The best part for me was the large area called Seabourn Square with coffee bar, library, computer center and concierge services. Everyone seemed to gather there often just for a chat and ...
