Excellent cruise on Seabourn Sojourn

Just finished 17 day cruise of Western Mediterranean. First time on Seabourn. 3rd cruise on ultra luxury cruise line. The most notable experiences on this cruise are as follows: Service of Staff. From the first day on board the staff made a point of knowing your name and treating you as special. This was clearly something Seabourn trains their staff to do as I saw many with "cheat ...

Let’s start with a disclaimer. We are strong Seabourn advocates. We have sailed on Seabourn for years and have spent more than 500 nights aboard Seabourn Ships. That being said, this review will be honest and we will share with you the good and fair on our trip. You will notice we did not use the word “bad”. The reason for us not using this word, is that we have had no bad experiences on this ...

First time on Seabourn. Previously a Crystal Cruise Cruiser. The ship is smaller in all respects to Crystal and that took some adjusting to. The rooms are spacious, colonnade and Thomas Keller food fantastic and the restaurant while starting off questionable, ended with good food and service. Ship has everything one could want and I enjoyed meeting folks on excursions. Spa services were ...

Auckland to Sydney 22 days

It was a wonderful cruise, we visited some remote islands which we found very interesting, the lectures were informative relating to the region. The food at all of the restaurants was very good with a good variety, the wines were of excellent quality and we particularly like the caviar service which was available 24/7! The premium restaurant was very good, no cover charge, was an added bonus, ...

We have done more than 40 other cruises including two world cruises, but this was our first time on Seabourn. We had high expectations for this cruise and overall they were either met or exceeded. I waited to do this review until after we completed our cruise on Oceania Regatta, which we just completed. That was our first cruise on Oceania and I thought it would make for an interesting ...

Our first Seabourn trip and without doubt the best cruise we have ever taken. Many, many positives and few negatives made it a very enjoyable 10 days. We also made friends with lots of fellow travelers and had a number of pleasant evenings in their company. Embarkation in Barcelona at the World Trade Centre was very smooth and although our boarding time was stated as 2pm we arrived around ...

Notes on Seabourn’s Sojourn. 1st to 8th September 2016 We have just returned from a splendidly hot and sunny cruise round the Mediterranean Riviera. Spain, France and Spain. This was our first time on a big sister, but we have sailed twice on Legend, a little sister. Here are all the special things we love about this Luxury cruise line Embarkation is welcoming, and without fuss. On our ...

Oceania lover has fling with Seabourn Barcelona to Monte Carlo 25-07-2016 to 04-08-2016 Background This was a special surprise gift for my mothers **th birthday. The last couple of years I have been cruising on Oceania (previous on Celebrity en Star Clippers) but this itinerary looked just perfect with lots of small ports and the price for a V4 Verandah suite was the same as a Penthouse ...

I have always wanted to visit Petra. This cruise included Petra plus The Holy Land and the Suez Canal, all new to me. We have taken several trips on Seabourn and love everything about it. The rooms are comfortable and have enough space which is apparently not always the case. The staff makes a tremendous effort to be cheerful, and helpful. By the third day one is greeted by name. Roberto, in ...

I read an article in Conde Nast magazine by an editor who had taken this tour in March 2015; she recommended it highly, so I decided to try it. I had never been to any of the countries/ports on the itinerary: Philippines, Borneo, Brunei, Sabah and Sarawak, Malaysia. Included in my Seabourn package was private transfer from the airport in Hong Kong to the Eaton Hotel for a breakfast buffet and a ...
