"I would have no hesitation at all recommending a cruise on the Sojourn to friends, and we have already booked a significantly longer trip next year. For those of you who have read some of the, shall we say, less than glowing recent Reviews of the Sojourn on this site, and who might as a result, have some hesitation about booking this ship, as we did despite previous sailings, I would say very firmly "do not worry"...."Read More

A great world cruise

Let’s start with a disclaimer. We are strong Seabourn advocates. We have sailed on Seabourn for years and have spent more than 500 nights aboard Seabourn Ships. That being said, this review will be honest and we will share with you the good and fair on our trip. You will notice we did not use the word “bad”. The reason for us not using this word, is that we have had no bad experiences on this ...

For those of you who have read some of the, shall we say, less than glowing recent Reviews of the Sojourn on this site, and who might as a result, have some hesitation about booking this ship, as we did despite previous sailings, I would say very firmly "do not worry". Standards throughout the ship remain very high indeed - the food in all outlets is of an excellent standard, the inclusive wines ...

Wonderful 20 day Cruise

Review for a Africa Cruise on Seabourn Sojourn

Our 5th Seabourn cruise and every time I say 'this was my favourite'! We enjoyed every minute despite having some dodgy weather to cope with and missing a couple of ports because of that. We felt that this was the happiest cruise we'd been on, more or less everyone was cheerful and that was down, as always, to the superb Staff who yet again went over and above to make it as enjoyable as ...

A truly wonderful cruise

Our 3rd SB cruise and it just gets better and better! Embarkation was faultless and quick, lunch in the Colonnade awaited us and we sat and had a leisurely lunch then straight to our cabin for unpacking. From then on, it was all just a fabulous time. After an independent tour in Rio, we had 5 straight sea days before we reached Tristan da Cunha. Being able to visit the remotest inhabited ...

Wonderful Experience on the Sojourn

Review for a Middle East Cruise on Seabourn Sojourn

We just returned from a fantastic Middle East cruise on the Sojourn. The cruise could not have been better despite an ominous start due to a late change in the itinerary which left out all Egyptian ports and substituted them with a second day in Israel, a day in Kusadasi and a day in Mykonos (something we managed to solve by organizing a pre-cruise short trip to Cairo and Luxor). This was our ...

Our second cruise on Sojourn

Review for a Africa Cruise on Seabourn Sojourn

This was our second cruise on board Sojourn. Our first was an excellent experience so much so that we were a little nervous returning. Would this trip live up to the previous experience? Fireworks look amazing because you aren't expecting them. You know you're going to see some and the organisers use flowery words like "extravaganza" in their promotional material but you aren't exactly sure what ...
