We did arrive a couple of days before the cruise in Buenos Aires. It is a fabulous city to visit and take in the shows. We have taken 5 cruises on this ship and we just love it. It has the perfect size and the best service and food ever offered in any other cruises. We were also very lucky because the weather was perfect during the whole cruise. I do not think these cruises have much to ...

The Best Way to See Antarctica

Review for a South America Cruise on Seabourn Quest

We've taken 32 cruises on many different lines and now find that Seabourn is our favorite line. We booked this cruise as a way to get us to South America, and were happily surprised by the extra bonus of Antarctica. I was most pleased by the careful attention paid to passenger safety and comfort. An expedition to Antarctica is not easy and many passengers had some degree of disability. Still ...

We chose this cruise for the itinerary through the Panama Canal to Peru. The excursions we booked on our own were far better than the experiences people had on the cruise line's offers. Many of the ports visited were for the first time and the itinerary staff knew little or nothing about them. You would think they would send out people ahead of time to learn about the areas they were going to ...

Very good but did not live up to expectations

We have cruised on Regent, Crystal, Viking, Celebrity, Princess and Cunard and although our experience with Seabourn was very good, there was something about Seabourn that did not live up to all the hype. The plus points are excellent cabin sizes, good food, good service and staff (most of the time), excellent safety and security procedures and the all inclusive nature of the cruise. Seabourn ...

Slow Decline

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Seabourn Quest

Although still quite good, a two year hiatus from SeaBourn certainly highlighted a decline in service. Corporate "cutting" is evident, with the service especially. As the top end of the Carnival line one would think the bean counters would leave this one alone. Not so. Less servers and less competent (trained?) servers compared to our two Seabourn cruises in winter of 2014. Not saying people ...

Awesome ship & Unbelieveable Antarctic experience!

The Quest is a fantastic ship. Large enough to offer many of the things we enjoy on larger ships but small enough to get into areas (including the Antarctic Peninsula) that most cruise ships cannot. Our cabin was lovely and plenty large in area, storage, etc. for our 3 week cruise. I saw one comment about the small shower stalls and, yes, they are tiny but the water pressure is excellent and, ...

Luxurious and relaxing cruise

My wife and I took our December holiday combined with an overdue honeymoon to the seas for 18 nights aboard Seabourn Quest (11 port stops, not the 8 shown above) and we were not let down at all; this doesn't mean that there were no challenges at all but relatively speaking, they were minor. Let's get the challenges out of the way first - 1)December cruising on some luxury liners results in a lot ...

Superb Seabourn Caribbean Quest!

Enjoyed every minute of our first Seabourn cruise aboard the beautiful Quest. Nothing was too much trouble for the excellent staff. Our stewardess kept our suite spotless with a plentiful supply of toiletries. Welcome bottle of champagne on ice, ice bucket, soft drinks & water replenished every day plus our choice of single malt whisky & good brandy, fresh fruit and flowers in our suite! Knew we ...
