"I just turn 60 and I have sailed in more than 40 voyages at this point , my last 4 cruises have been with Seabourn in various ship , making the Quest my second time in Amazonas Br., In this case was from Venice / Fusina , so I may warn you about this port for embark with Seabourn , unfortunately this por lacks glamour of your in Venice experience for departure , it was a mystery for weeks on how to get to this industrial port , after spending a few unwanted dollars just to embark and disembark I must say that the ship , staff and food are impecable any negative comments are excessive for all the effort that Seabourn puts in to your vacation , I have taken explorer ships from seabourn , like the venture and being one of their new ships , The Quest and odyssey offers much more to the experience to their guest , the trademark of seaboard is all accomplish in this ship ,: Bow Jaccuzy , Casino , Thomas Keller and some entertainment which I have found to be getting better in more competitive routes ,shopping with the Chef in Italy was very entertaining and was included for no charge , I would probably look in to another experience with Seabourn in Sojourn that are bit newer and bit bigger , 600 Pax is my limit , never done a waiting line in Seabourn , I have had jet set embarkation in Buenos Aires oil the Venture in March 2023 and definitely it was not like that in Fusina not the teams fault just far away and expensive to reach and disembark , oh well no one is perfect but Seabourn has capture my interest for future..."Read More

Great cruise on The Quest

Just off Quest following a 10 day cruise in the Adriatic. My wife and I had our two boys (ages 15 and 17) with us. We’ve had only one previous experience on Seabourn when my wife and I went on a cruise to Greece 12 years ago. I always try to do a fair amount of research prior to departure and therefore I had read a lot of the recent negative reviews. I have to say that for us we had the best ...

Caution: Seabourn Quest not up to par

We've sailed Seabourn 5 times and this was our first since the pandemic. A DISAPPOINTMENT. NOT EVEN CLOSE TO PRIOR SAILINGS. Don’t charge full prices for over 1/2 staff still brand new 30k for an 11 day cruise with this many issues no thanks Pros: Size of ship we still like Location of PH suite on deck 10, very quiet -although view blocked PH1025 Keller restaurant still ...

Crystal v. Seabourn Quest

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Seabourn Quest

This review is for Crystal Cruise “refugees” looking for a new cruise line. We were very happy with Crystal but needed a new “home” when Crystal went bankrupt. We picked Seabourn and this is our review of our cruise on the Seabourn Quest. If you do not want to read to the end, we think you will be happy with Seabourn Some differences relate to the ship size; the Quest had 440 guests, while ...

Two solid reasons to avoid Seabourn

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Seabourn Quest

First a general word of caution: Seabourn have announced that they will focus on their expedition business, and they have started selling off their ocean going ships one at a time. The Odyssey has already been sold to leave Seabourn in August 2024. My wife and I sailed on Seabourn Legend a few months before it was handed over to Windstar in 2015. All experienced staff had left the ship and ...

Very poor communications with customer service

We chose this cruise because we heard/read that this was a top of the line cruise and we wanted to compare to other cruise lines we've sailed with including some European river cruises. From the time we booked the cruise until we actually embarked, communication and customer service was definitely sub par. All correspondence with customer service was by phone with the exception of booking a ...

We were on board for 24 days, 10 days with our adult family. The family had not sailed with Seabourn, we had done many cruises with Crystal…my DH & I have over 250 days on Seabourn ….we had so many “not to Seabourn standards” that we are booking a SS cruise next! The office in SEA had so much trouble with our OBC that one never came thru at all and one came thru on the last day of the 10 day ...

Seabourn and Covid

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Seabourn Quest

I will not discuss the noticiable drop in service here, just the Covid situation. Seabourn’s attitude is cavalier at best, not even enforcing their own written rules. On day eight of an eleven day cruise, there were seven quarantined rooms on our floor out of 189 passengers on board. Not a peep or warning from company to passengers. “Masks are required to be worn on transportation during any ...

Recent complaints by Parallel40 & John117 are absolutely on target.

Seabourn is DEFINITELY NOT meeting the 5-star standards for which they were previously known. As Parallel40 correctly pointed out, the Ship's Officers absolutely BUNGLED the handling of the onboard Covid issue. Rather than publicly acknowledging there was, in fact, a small outbreak of Covid among BOTH passengers "&" crew, they simply ignored the issue & acted as if no one would notice the ...

We are a family of 5. 2 adults and 3 teenagers. We travel extensively and we’re looking for a fun way to explore the Adriatic. We chose this cruise because of the 18 day itinerary and the room sizes. The cruises were only half full. We enjoyed all of our dining experiences in all of the restaurants. The staff knew our preferences quickly and we enjoyed everything. The staff were fantastic. We ...
