This was a once in a lifetime cruise starting in Santiago, Chile….glacial cruising around Cape Horn, Antarctica landings, up the east coast of South America, ending deep in the Amazon in Manaus, Brazil. For booking, this cruise was forty-two days and technically two back to back cruises on Seabourn Quest, which is reinforced for Antarctica. This was the last summer trip to Antarctica for the ...

America , I was very lucky to fin a last minute cruise ( 1 week before ) rush to get my yellow fever vaccines it was not easy to find u¡in Santiago , Chile where I am from , then getting to Manaus involved 2 days traveling and it seem every minute like I was heading to a very ...

I choose the cruise because it enter the Amazon River, in a Buenos Aires to Manaous route. The service is impeccable. The food gourmet. The Staff pleasant in every respect. The University Professors that gave the lectures were first class, instructive, it was obvious they wanted the passengers to learn, and most did want to learn, so it was very pleasurable. Entertainment was appropriate for a ...

Seabourn Quest – The Seabourn Difference 16.3.19 -7.4.19 Buenos Aires to Manaus Having cruised with Seabourn on Odyssey, Sojourn and the little ships, we knew what to expect and were not disappointed. We had booked a guarantee cabin or rather suite, as all cabins are known, and ended up fairly midships on deck 4 near the dining room in a quiet location. The balcony cabins are exactly the ...

A world of comfort and luxury, but their vegetarian food really lets them down

This was our third Seabourn cruise, second on the Quest and we chose this one because we wanted to see Antarctica. Once again, we entered a world of comfort, luxury and plenty, all delivered with kindness and good humour by the hard working staff and crew. However unlike our previous two Seabourn cruises, we were quite disappointed by the vegetarian food on offer. Cabin Our cabin was on ...

Very enjoyable but minor annoyances

I picked this cruise because of the unusual and very interesting itinerary. I do not regret selecting this cruise. The crew was very interactive with the guests and catered to our desires. The size of the ship and the quality of the guests lead to a community atmosphere. I think by the end of the cruise there were more than 100 guests and almost the entire crew that greeted me by name. The ...

This was our third Seabourn cruise but the first in which we upgraded to a penthouse spa suite (because of a good deal) and the first where we crossed the Atlantic. Both were great experiences and are the focus of this review. The suite first. There are four of these above the spa area, reached only by a flight of curving stairs and so not practical for passengers with mobility issues. The deck ...

This was our second cruise with Seabourn and we were attracted to this one because we wanted to see this part of the world, but we also liked the many sea days. We work hard in our daily lives and we wanted to relax. The moment we stepped on board in Buenos Aires, we entered a world of comfort, luxury and plenty, all delivered with good humour and kindness by the hard working staff and ...

We initially booked the crossing, (Fort Lauderdale to Barcelona)..however, after listening to what the next contiguous cruise, (Wine and Food) we stayed on the ship I must say, this particular was the best one for us on Seabourn. Every aspect of the trip, the ship itself, the staff and the cuisine. WOW! Everything about this cruise was excellent, (i.e., the ship itself, the staff, the ...
