I decided that it was time to pick a a more high end small ship to compare to our typical ship on Holland America Line. The Quest is a 400 passenger ship. My wife and I enjoyed the small size. We met a lot of people. It helped to started the trip off knowing about 30 people through Cruise Critic. The ship is nice, cabin is nice size with shower AND tub (which we never used). Although still quite good, a two year hiatus from SeaBourn certainly highlighted a decline in service. Corporate "cutting" is evident, with the service especially. As the top end of the Carnival line one would think the bean counters would leave this one alone. Not so. Less servers and less competent (trained?) servers compared to our two Seabourn cruises in winter of 2014. Not saying people ...
