Luxury gone at Seabourn

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Seabourn Quest

We traveled with Seabourn 4 times in past. This was our first post Covid trip. Beautiful interiors. Took their highest level veranda on the 8th floor . Small room. Impossible shelving cabinet that left little room in front of bed. Tiny shower, large bath that was quite deep and was difficult to use. House staff worked very hard. Restaurant staff not trained. Requesting water was a big ...

Seabourn goes the way of Holland American

We have been Seabourn loyal cruisers for a number of seasons, but no more. We like the ship size and outstanding onboard personnel. However, the overall quality of service, food, little extras, and ability of crew members to respond to special needs has disappeared. The ships are the same, the outstanding crews are the same, the food is a little sub-par when compared to Oceana and the excursions ...

NOT WHAT IT SAID

We chose this cruise as a way to visit both Greenland and Nunavut. With our tickets, two weeks before departure, the itinerary stated that we would not be able to go ashore at any of the three stops in Nunavut. We did not look at the itinerary before boarding the ship - we thought we knew where we were going and had of course paid in full. We anchored in the harbour of Iqaliut for customs ...

Very overrated

Seabourn used to be really good. No longer. Food quality is not much better than the lower priced lines. Service not as good as before. Ship a bit run down. Entertainment just ok. We expected really superior service and dining from Seabourn. That is no longer the case. We were really looking forward to this cruise, having had a really nice cruise with this cruise line some years ago. They ...

Food was a huge disappointment

This was our first Seabourn cruise...and our last. Past sailings have been on Oceania and I regret this trip was not with them, as well. I will repeat another review in saying the food was a huge disappointment for all the upscale hype associated with Seabourn. The selection of items lacked variety and portions were incredibly small. Size of portion is more appropriate for a ten year old. It was ...

We are regular Seabourn cruisers going every couple of years . We are shocked by the dumbing down since the new owners have taken over. Food is so boring and repetitive . No interesting food, no innovation . Just Meat or fish on a plate . Limited food options, Collonade has choice of two items only per night, and half the time you have to book for this mediocre experience , restaurant 2 which was ...

Great staff but suite was unsatisfactory and so was the food.

Thought it would be the best cruise for us-upscale and all inclusive However, we told our travel agent that we needed a sound proof separation between the sleeping and sitting areas. He spoke to Seaborne and their person said the curtain was sound proof. He said that all he has ever been told is that these curtains are purposely made thick to keep the light and sound from coming in from the ...

Disappointing in so many ways

I chose this cruise based on itinerary and the belief that Seabourn was a top of the line cruise experience. We were able to secure an upgrade an ended up with a Penthouse Suite. The accommodations are excellent. The room far exceeded expectations. The bathroom was large with a separate room for the toilet which included its own basin. Very private and nice. There was a jetted tube and the lovely ...

Disappointing

We have taken 10+ cruises and although this was not the worst, it was subpar in bang for the buck. They charged for Wi-Fi. there is a one quality restaurant but the food choice is fixed differently each night. Because of weather we spent two days at sea not being able to get into ports but the Casino was not open except in the evening. When I complained, I was told that it was not staffed ...
