A sad omen for our cruise occurred when we heard an announcement on the PA system from the captain, "All Staff, Code Oscar" indicating a passenger overboard. Within the first few hours of the cruise, a passenger was overboard (reportedly a suicide). Of course that is not the ship's fault, but the event started the cruise off on a very sad note. The ship is well maintained and the crew were very much better than average. That being said if unusual things came up then the service fell down, even after speaking with the manager of guest services. Had an amazing time with great fellow guests. Service was good Cabins very good, Décor throughout the ship was bland and beginning to show signs of wear. No fresh flower displays.
