Cabin 511
Mar 2015
Our cabin was large, had great storage, and everything that we needed. The closet and drawer space was great and we were able to store our luggage under the beds. The table in the cabin was a bit inconvenient for dining as the chairs are too low - we had to sit on pillows to be high enough. The veranda furniture was changed out when we were in Melbourne near the end of the cruise. The new chairs and foot rests are comfortable but the table is too small for dining. The bathroom is very nice and larger than most cruise ships. The dressing table outside the bathroom is a welcome feature.

This is a forward cabin, consequently you may feel the ship roll a bit in high seas. The TV screens in all suites will not pivot enough for convenient viewing. Charging for Internet connections in the second decade of the 21st century seems unnecessary. Love the walk-in closet. Didn't really use the balcony this time of year and that may be something to consider on specific itineraries at different times of the year.

Cabin 503 was a disgrace. Cabin 817 was perfect.

Cabins 402/502 right at the pointy end were extremely noisy with grinding and hammering all day due to maintenance room next door. Bed was extremely comfortable, TV a bit hard to watch whilst in bed. Storage in the bathroom (twin sinks) was limited. Cabins were generally well equipped.
