Very disappointed

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Seabourn Sojourn

We have been on odyssey and encore so this is our 3rd with seabourn. From the embarking to everything else it has been very disappointing. A noticeable reduction in crew, standards of dress code have dropped and are not reinforced when appropriate. A lot more children than ever before, this is crazy as there are no facilities for children. Guests arguing over the use of aged laundry ...

20 Days on the Sojourn

We decided to cruise on the Seabourn, having only done one other cruise with them. We did back to back cruises, starting in Barcelona and ending in Rome 20 days in all.Embarkation was good. The ship softgoods (interiors of cabins} very very tired. They were in dry dock during Covid, and it would have been a good job to re-do those dark cabins, with lighter fabric. Our penthouse suite was very ...

Definitely Not the Seabourn as we know it

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Seabourn Sojourn

My husband & I have over 300 days on Seabourn and lots of wonderful memories. This cruise was not one of them. From Embarkation to Disembarkation it was certainly not a 6 Star experience. Embarkation was a joke totally disorganized. We were originally given a 4pm time and got that changed to 12.30. The hall was packed at 12.15 - at least 3/4 of the guests were there waiting. The service ...

Seabourn Quest's "gimme shelter" Canadian Autumn Cruise disappoints

Review for a Canada & New England Cruise on Seabourn Quest

OVERVIEW I have cruised luxury lines multiple times in the last decade ( sometimes with my husband, sometimes with friends, or alone) and several times since Covid. We are loyal to no line in particular, and prefer to mix and match lines, depending on itinerary and timing. Though we had cruised Seabourn (SB) , and the Quest, prior to the pandemic, this was our first SB post-pandemic cruise. ...

We were on board for 24 days, 10 days with our adult family. The family had not sailed with Seabourn, we had done many cruises with Crystal…my DH & I have over 250 days on Seabourn ….we had so many “not to Seabourn standards” that we are booking a SS cruise next! The office in SEA had so much trouble with our OBC that one never came thru at all and one came thru on the last day of the 10 day ...

Very poor communications with customer service

We chose this cruise because we heard/read that this was a top of the line cruise and we wanted to compare to other cruise lines we've sailed with including some European river cruises. From the time we booked the cruise until we actually embarked, communication and customer service was definitely sub par. All correspondence with customer service was by phone with the exception of booking a ...

Seabourn and Covid

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Seabourn Quest

I will not discuss the noticiable drop in service here, just the Covid situation. Seabourn’s attitude is cavalier at best, not even enforcing their own written rules. On day eight of an eleven day cruise, there were seven quarantined rooms on our floor out of 189 passengers on board. Not a peep or warning from company to passengers. “Masks are required to be worn on transportation during any ...

Seabourn Fails To Deliver

Our first pandemic-era cruise. We have numerous past cruises with Seabourn, and this cruise experience ranks at the bottom. First, why would a complete novice stewardess, someone who had four days of experience under her belt, be assigned to service a Penthouse Suite? Should not you most experienced personnel take care of your higher-paying guests? Bad enough we had to participate in her ...

Beautiful beaches

Beautiful beaches great islands. We got upgraded to a penthouse (handicapped) but didn't bother us since it was bigger than the other suites. Almost the size of an owners suite and updated furniture ! The pre cruise and post cruise arrival and departure was through seabourn and without any issues. La samana in st martin and Fairmont Barbados both great properties! The downgrade for this trip is ...

There is much to like about Seabourn's fall foliage cruise provided you don't encounter a hurricane (Dorian) and have to forego Prince Edward Island and opt instead for 2 nights in St. John New Brunswick, an unscheduled port where it rained sideways. The captain was cautious, and when we read about the power outages in PEI and the hurricane-related problems in Halifax, we felt good about ...
