Wonderful Expedition Cruise

First Time Cruiser • Age 50s

We have many cruises with SB and SS but this was first expedition. In short we think it was great - excellent expedition crew, informative talks and a sense of, well, expedition. It was fun bouncing around on zodiacs and the included parka etc did keep you dry. Suites were same as ocean ships ie spacious and clean. Food was similar but only gripe was that colonnade often empty due to very boring ...

This was an amazing cruise. My husband and I loved it. The cabin, the staff, the expedition team. The entertainment, the food, the captain, all great. The universe was cooperative in providing beautiful weather. We had the Drake Lake on our way down which allowed for a bonus landing at Deception Island. I hardly wore my hat and my glove liners were sufficient. All of the landings were fantastic ...

My husband and I have traveled extensively. We have done cruises on many of the luxury lines(Crystal, Regent, Silversea and of course, Seabourn.) The last cruise we took on Seabourn on the Ovation in October of 2023 left much to be desired. Overworked staff was the main downside. We had already booked this cruise in July of 2023. I was excited to be on a brand new ship. It did not disappoint. The ...

Antarctica is a bucket list continent and after Covid-19 cancellations, we finally made it. We wanted an expedition ship with amenities beyond a basic ship and an excellent expedition team was essential. We got all this and more. The ship launched 6 months before our trip and all the bugs appear have been worked out. The Pursuit is immaculate, as you would expect. The crew was the usual ...

I choose this trip because It was a good introduction of this expedition new ship from Seabourn , this would be my third cruise on Seabourn which I was very impress with their service and overall quality in the past 2 cruises especially for what you pay for , my cruise was only 7 days from Buenos Aire to Rio , unfortunately I was to do the Iquitos to Manaus but this was canceled , the ship came ...

My name is Ivan and I’m professional geologist and explorationist by training and experience. I participated in few expeditions by Viking and Silversea cruise lines (that were very good) as well as numerous land-based geological field trips. In early 2022, I and my spouse decided to look for Antarctica expedition cruise and selected Seabourn due to the cruise credit we had with them after one ...

Ultra expedition to Antarctica.Experience of a lifetime. Expedition staff is one of the best in the industry. If you book your entire trip, including your flights, you will be well taken care with shuttle and minimum baggage handling on your part.Tours could be pricey, but well worth to enjoy the visits to all the scenic ports. Staff on ship will pamper you, meals are five stars and the ...

Seabourn Quest – The Seabourn Difference 16.3.19 -7.4.19 Buenos Aires to Manaus Having cruised with Seabourn on Odyssey, Sojourn and the little ships, we knew what to expect and were not disappointed. We had booked a guarantee cabin or rather suite, as all cabins are known, and ended up fairly midships on deck 4 near the dining room in a quiet location. The balcony cabins are exactly the ...

I choose the cruise because it enter the Amazon River, in a Buenos Aires to Manaous route. The service is impeccable. The food gourmet. The Staff pleasant in every respect. The University Professors that gave the lectures were first class, instructive, it was obvious they wanted the passengers to learn, and most did want to learn, so it was very pleasurable. Entertainment was appropriate for a ...

Terrible experience

I took the Seabourn Quest for a trip to the Antarctica on Feb 3 from Buenos Aires. I was terribly unpleasant on board the Seabourn Quest. We boarded the ship at noon on Feb 3, but I started having throw-up & diarrhea at ~11 p.m. on Feb 4. Throughout the night, I had at least 6 times of diarrhea. I was too weak to get to the medical room, so a nurse was asked to come up to tend to my case ...
