We chose this cruise as we had so enjoyed a fantastic trip with Seabourn Quest in 2016. We wanted to skip a month of Winter and be spoilt whilst doing it. Check-in in Barbados was an indication of what was to come. there was just on member of staff on the quay side. No champagne or cold towels and certainly not the line of staff used in the advertising and this was 15 minutes after check in opened. the brochure rates for any seabourn ship are extortionate. $9,800 a week is ridiculous. we got a good special and decided to try a 6 star ship. for this kind of money we expected luxury, as they advertise. the ships are small and can go to many more ports than large ships. the rooms are large. the clientele is top rate- who else can afford these rates? you pay more to get less. very limited ...
