Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Seabourn Encore

It was so nice to be back on board a ship and sailing once more. The Encore was nearly spotless, so the 2 year Covid lay up allowed for maintenance and it showed with a sparkling appearance. With fewer than 250 guests both weeks and more than 400 crew, shall we say we were pampered like never before? The dining venues were competing for our patronage! And the food was excellent and varied in all ...

we have been avid silver seas fans. unfortunately on our last cruise, they dropped the ball in so many ways. we had been on seabourn exactly twelve years ago to the week, that was on the odyssey. we decided to give seabourn another try. we were thrilled with the experience. cruising in the time of covid requires a tremendous amount of nerve and patience. we had to have pcr's test, then a nasal ...

Currently on Seabourn Ovation and covid outbreak. My husband - double jabbed -pcr and lat flow negative before boarding is positive - along with many others. I’m confined to my cabin. First thing we were told to do was we did not need masks despite the ship having previously visited Mykonos and there reportedly being at least one case of covid on board. Funnily enough the Captain has a new ...

We booked this cruise by default. My DH and I were supposed to sail to the Amazon March 2020 but Covid stopped that. Then we rebooked for Australia - cancelled, rebooked for Bbaltic- cancelled, etc. Finally Greece opened and we jumped. This trip would have been iconic if the weather was bit cooler, but we were so thankful to sail again and on this amazing ship. There were six in our party. We ...

Smaller cruise line, very attentive crew, nothing was a problem, this was the second of the seabourn ships we have been on, the year before we were on the Oncore but prefer the Odyssey, so much so we have booked our trip for next year on the Odyssey, she is just a bit smaller than the encore and we felt more at home. Our cabin on both ships was fabulous, really roomy and great bathrooms. We ...

Another great Seabourn cruise

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Seabourn Odyssey

We have been on Seabourn several times-all except one on Odyssey. We love this ship as it has minimal announcements, great service and food and is a low density ship so never feels crowded. We always use Seabourn for booking our flights as they meet you at the airport and transfer you to the ship and back again. Within about 5 minutes of arriving at the port, we were on the ship. Odyssey has ...

Wonderful Greek islands odyssey

After our 21 day cruise in April on the Seabourn Ovation (our first with Seabourn) we had been impressed. When we noticed the itinerary of the Odyssey for the Greek Odyssey Cruise we got all excited. For us, the Mediterranean is our favorite cruising destination. There were some islands on the itinerary that were new to us, while others we already knew but were keen on seeing again. We were ...

Delightful Experience on a 6 Star Small Ship

Review for a Middle East Cruise on Seabourn Ovation

Fellow Cruisers, It has now been a further three weeks of cruising on the Seabourn Ovation for my wife and I and I have begun to like this ship quite a bit. Cruising on a relatively small ship (600 or less passengers) means that the staff and fellow guests get to know you and vice versa in a short period of time. This makes for a more congenial and friendly family type atmosphere. Since my last ...

A Happy Ship: Very Pleasant Sailing on the Seabourn Encore

Review for a Middle East Cruise on Seabourn Encore

Having recently returned from our second Seabourn cruise, we debarked the ship after 19 days wanting to stay on board. Alas, "duty calls", including back to work. Now, after settling in at home, herewith, in no particular, order, are my impressions of our trip. Last year (December 2017) we tried Seabourn for the very first time, on the Odyssey for a Caribbean cruise. Interested readers can find ...
