Worst Cruise Experience

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on MSC Grandiosa

I would like to give ZERO star, but I can't. MSC is a low, low, low quality cruise. If you like good food, avoid it. The meals offered are POOR and quality not so good. Staff if not well trained (specially customer service). The "juices" offered during breakfast time aren't juice: it is like a water with something with a horrible taste. This is my 7th cruise and the worst that I ever been. Even ...

Brazil being on our travel bucket list and cruising being our favourite type of holiday we thought this holiday would be perfect. It was the complete opposite. Food- Disgusting. Raw chicken, tiny portions, horrible selection, half the buffet shut, need I go on? I think MSC are keeping the cuttlefish afloat as for some strange reason that was on every night. The food was so bad there was times ...

I can't even begin to start, the captain is a terrible driver we were on the 9th floor and we felt the ship moving so bad that the whole family got sick the food is extra and the buffet food is the same every day we couldn't even play bingo correctly without people yelling about the numbers and it was rigged to drop down from 5000 to 500 dollars no one ever wins the 5000$ I suggest if your gonna ...

This was not my first cruise with MSC,in fact it was about my 7th or 8th mostly transatlantic from Santos, Brazil to Europe apart from one to the Caribbean. Prior to this I had done a mini cruises with Fred Olsen. To be honest, after my first cruise with MSC in 2013 I was quite impressed and wanted to go again, which I did more or less ever year following. In 2014 cruising again from Brazil to ...

Regrettable or treat that an MSC is giving its passengers. The ship was absolutely full. Believe that they have enlarged or cabins in a renovation, but not widening the common area. The buffet restaurants, a shopping area and a pool area did not accommodate the number of passengers. It is not possible to move through the theater to a restaurant without being used by people. We had to hold ...

Terrible service/food

Due to the fact that this ship is new and luxurious, we had high expectations for our vacation. But it ended up as the worst cruise service we ever experienced. Unprepared crew, no knowledge of what's happening at the ship, and always with a bad mood (with few exceptions). Attendants of the bar always busy, causing waits of up to 10 min for a simple beer (which was sometimes, warm). ...

I chose this cruise because I thought Brazil would be exciting. It was until we got to the Fasinosa. Then everything went wrong. There are too many people for the common areas and too few staff to control them. The rules are good but no one to carry them out. Therefore there are children running riot in the theatre at night and in the restaurants at mealtimes. The hygiene rules are not carried ...

Pre-cruise started off to a weird start - no prompting from Costa to fill out anything for the cruise, no communications at all. Found their web site to be very cumbersome and non-informative. We experienced Quick embarking (showed up just prior to leaving port), no room card give and no indication of where and when we would receive this. Once on the ship we headed to our rooms and there ...

We are experienced travellers and cruisers with about 25+ cruises. A large group of use got 10 balcony and junior suites for a cruise from 12/19/15-12/26/15 WORST EXPERIENCE CRUISING EVER! For starters, the cruise was almost double the price of Caribbean/European/Alaskan tours we have done in the past; Not included (nor mentioned by the cruise line) was almost $1600 per family of visas ...
