Post cruise was a nasty surprise

The cruise was pleasant enough but when we returned home we found our MasterCard had been charged for an unidentified item. Contacting Celebrity they informed us the charge was for items used from the mini bar. We, in fact, had not used any items from the mini bar during the entire cruise and, more to the point, had not authorised any payment. Very concerned that payment can be taken from your ...

We were on a combined visit to Easter Island (which was superb) and then a cruise from Chile to San Diego. We were very happy with our stateroom, which was spacious, very comfortable and had an excellent balcony and bathroom. The ship - Celebrity Eclipse - is a good size has an attractive range of amenities while never seeming too big. We always felt the ship had plenty of space. Embarkation was ...

Ports of call interesting. We havd never been to these countries on the Pacific side of South America.. Going this tome of year we expected, and received waem weather. Having sailed with Princess several times, with very positive results, we picked this itinerary. Being familiar with the Royal Princess, having sailed with her before, and having been told that she was refitted with new ...

Took cruise in order to circumference South America. Good cruise except for the nonexistent wi-fy. No way to keep in contact with family except at the ports due to the ship’s poor internet during the entire cruise. The main dining room meals got boring after second week. More variety for menu options on Lido. We did go to the specialty steak house restaurant for a Birthday celebration. We ...

The activity staff was great on the ship with Trivia and games 2 times a day. The ship did not have enough interesting enrichment sessions except for fellow passengers who did the bike ride from northern Alaska to bottom of South America. Their presentation was amazing! The food on the cruise was just ok with dinners taking over 2 hours due to delays in the kitchen. We did enjoy the ...

Chose cruise for route and timing availability. Food was acceptable, bar staff good. Some dining room staff were rather surly and acting as if they were near the end of their contract and had no intention in renewing their contract. Had the same annoying art auctions as Carnival. Pushing notion that if you were savvy enough to buy their art onboard, it would enhance your image as being a ...

Enjoyed the cruise but the food on the ship was very uneven

We enjoyed the itinerary and had a good time. But, as usual with Princess, the food varied widely from excellent to terrible. The first week, the food in the main dining room was really high quality. Then it went downhill during the second week. The food in the buffet was consistently poor throughout, by the way. Can't recommend eating there unless you're in a rush. Princess needs to get some ...

Disappointed

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and the size of the ship. My husband has trouble walking and I didn't want a Mega Size ship where it would be a long walk to all the venues. I requested a cabin in the middle of the ship, and instead we had the very first cabin in the bow. I paid extra for "run of the ship" hoping for an upgrade or at least, a cabin in the middle. The dining room, ...

Wanted to visit Chile, Peru and Ecuador. Weather was perfect and the seas calm all the way. Embarkation in Valparaiso was something! Remember embarkations like that YEARS and years ago! Happy it wasn't raining. Capt. and bridge staff were friendly and were at many social functions. Enjoyed Elite status - Celebrity is generous with their loyalty program and it was appreciated. Dining ...
