Friend and I had never been to South America. We figured this cruise would check that off the list as well as fulfill the desire to sail the Strait of Magellan.

The crew is very professional and accommodating. A few of the ship's interior spaces have recently been updated but the overwhelming majority of restaurants and bars are very worn and are in much need of modernization.

I really don't have many good things to say about this ship ..I did enjoy the ports .. it was nice to 'escape' from the ship. However,there were far too many sea days where we could not get out on deck due to the weather. When the weather did improve, 2 of the pools were closed for maintenance!!

We wanted to do the Christmas cruise around Cape Horn as we had previously been to South America and loved it. This was our eighth cruise with Celebrity, but our first disappointing one.
