Embarkation went smoothly enough. Meals in dining room not to my taste most nights so we ate in ocean view cafe. Mainly the stirfrys which were freshly cooked to order and were excellent, We found the ship activities to be lacking. Guest speakers... poor for trip what did Alaska act have to do with this Cruise? Very little info on ports except for a short talk on first sea day. Panama canal ...

We wanted to do the Christmas cruise around Cape Horn as we had previously been to South America and loved it. This was our eighth cruise with Celebrity, but our first disappointing one. The service was just not up to standard and we felt that they wanted us off the ship as three days before leaving the ship they started clearing items out the cabins. The shore excursions were very ...

We have waited until now to file our review on the infinity cruise mar 15-29 valpariso to fll. we had hoped our experience was unique to the crew and circumstances we encountered. not so most of reviews to date are not so nice. we also waited to see if celebrity would respond to our harsh feedback. nothing. we might as well be first time cruisers. In actuality we are Elite Plus having ...

We were on the Infinity on March 1st until March 29th, 2015. Had I not known the name of the Cruise Line I would have never, ever thought I was on the Infinity. I found the entertainment at night boring. So much so, that we would go to the shows and walk out due to boredom. I didn't find any activity that I could participate in. If you do not like trivia or dancing, you truly don't have ...

Our cruise on the Celebrity Infinity was from Valparaiso cruising Northward seeing South America, Panamagg Canal and ending in Ft Lauderdale. Let me discuss some of the pre-cruise events. Our flight to Santiago was uneventful with the airport recovering from the 2010 earthquake which significantly damaged the International airport. Our private tour guides, Sergio and Annaliese from Perfect Day ...

Up front: This was our 15th cruise. This was our 3rd cruise on Celebrity. This was our 2nd cruise on the Infinity. Something's happened to this cruise line (or at least this ship) over the past 17 months, and it's NOT an improvement by any means. OK, so they were plagued with Norovirus on the leg of the cruise before us. That meant that the cabins weren't open to us until 5 o'clock on the day of ...

I missed sending in a requested review but wished you to know we were most disappointed with our recent cruise on Infinity from Santiago to Buenos Aires. This was our 5th cruise with Celebrity and we found you are cutting too many corners on the ship now. We did have some bad luck as we could not go ashore in Punta Arenas due to bad weather, a passenger needed to be hospitalized so we had to re ...

My family of 4 set out for a special holiday adventure to South America. What we ended up with was outrageous treatment beyond belief. American Airlines and Celebrity Cruise line's incredible callousness and incompetence nearly completely wrecked our holiday before it even began. When we finally made it to the ship after two and a half days the treatment and service on board wasn't much better. ...

We wanted to cruise Cape Horn and see Valpairaiso, "Glacier Alley: with five smallish glaciers within an hour’s sailing: Italia, Hollandia, Allemagne, Romanche & Espana, etc. But everything went wrong and the trip with Celebrity wasn't at all what we had payed for and expected ! 1. Celebrity Infinity could not leave in Valparaiso but instead the ship was leaving in San Antonio. Because of this we ...

A Difficult Trip

This was a difficult and disappointing trip for us. Difficult because my wife was ill for about 9 days, disappointing because of the lack of class we experienced with many of the passengers and a decline in the quality that we had previously enjoyed on other Celebrity cruises. This review also includes our experiences on a side trip to El Calafate, Argentina, before embarking on the cruise. This ...
