Celebrity is our favorite cruise line. We had sailed on Infinity before and love the size of the ship. We were in Aqua Class on Deck 11 Aft. Boarding was a breeze, there was a glitch coming from Santiago to San Antonio. We lost about 2 hours due to transportation issues with Celebrity.
We had select dining which was great for our needs. Our favorite locations on the ship, solarium, Blu ...
I was a little apprehensive about this cruise as I had read some iffy reviews of the ship. The ship, it turned out, was amazing. In fact, we preferred it to the Equinox as the atmosphere was much friendlier. Embarkation and disembarkation were a breeze.
We had upgraded to Aqua Class and were not disappointed. The access to the Persian Garden was particularly welcome on this cruise as the ...
Fascinating places, great on board service, good excursions! Interesting mix of passengers with around 50% being Spanish speaking only! Good cabin with great balcony, ideal for viewing the transit through the Panama Canal at close quarters. Would recommend this cruise.
Food was good in all resteraunts, Quiisine was definitely a strange experience with too much food but it was great ...
This was a repositioning cruise so although there were no other cost saving perks enticing us to book the initial price was attractive and the locations traveled to irrisitable. Having a chance to see Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Columbia and Panama was a chance not to be missed. We have enjoyed a Celebrity Cruise once in the past and very much enjoyed it - this one was just as good. Fantastic ...
We found this cruise allowed us to see places we wouldn't normally be able to see. We went to the Atacama Desert, the driest place on Earth.we also were in the heat and humidity of equatorial countries. The diversity was great !
On board we were very pleased with the alternative restaurants. The Tuscan Grill provided homemade pasta, incredibly delicious steak, and delicious seafood. Sushi on 5 ...
Was in an oceanview room, nice big window, not a tiny porthole like some other cruiseships, room was nice, decent bathroom. Food was amazing in the dining room...I've been on many cruises and the steak here was excellent, in fact, every meal was prepared well, came to table hot and not overcooked. Desserts were all excellent as well. Enjoyed my lattes at the cafe everyday. Service was ...
We are not so-called 'veteran' cruisers. This is our fourth trip, and the first aboard Celebrity. Before we booked this cruise - from Valparaiso, Chile through the Canal to Miami, I read a number of the Cruise Critic reviews of Celebrity and of the Infinity. And, I'm confused.
Some have been very enthusiastic, but a fair number have been critical of the Infinity experience --- and our ...
From Valparaiso to Fort Lauderdale is a very long way both in distance and in culture. The journey was fascinating. Embarkation was swift but access to staterooms was delayed due to extensive cleaning following an outbreak of intestinal illness. For the whole of the trip there was constant cleaning by the staff and ubiquitous hand gel. We visited Arica - there is a big hill in the middle of town, ...
This was a bucket list cruise for me. I had been concerned after reading some reviews here, but found the Infinity in excellent condition. The service provided by our cabin steward (Pamela) and our waiter (Randy) were superior. The public rooms were well kept and although the ship is not brand new, it was well maintained. We found the food in the main dining room to be quite good with the shrimp ...
Our first Cruise on one of the Millennium Class Ships. I can see why they at a Favorite of veteran Cruisers.
They have an Uncrowded feel and a very Understated Décor.
The Great Service we have always enjoyed on Celebrity Ships and outstanding Food and Entertainment.
We were traveling with Friends and Relatives some of who were on their First Cruise.
For once we never used any of the Cruise ...
