We had an 18-day cruise from Valparaiso, Chile to Antarctica and back to Puerto Arenas. It took forever to get onto the ship and get into our cabin (436). Once we got in, things went well for the most part. The cabin was fine but there was a horrid odor in the hallway (sewage smell) off and on. Started in Valparaiso. This is my second HAL-cruise. First on Eurodam, over Greenland. Was surprised liking the much older Zaandam better. Not only because the cabin and balcony, was a bit larger here. Most public rooms were more attractive to me. (Gym, Crows nest, dining room, theatre etc.) The theatre suffered from not so good sound.
