This was our 9th cruise with 5 different cruise lines (Carnival, Celebrity, NCL and Holland America). We had been on the Radiance of the Seas and loved it so we tried the Brilliance to visit a couple of different islands (Tortola and Guadeloupe).

This was our second cruise to the Southern Caribbean and we really enjoyed this itinerary.
Port - San Juan, Puerto Rico. This was our second cruise out of this port and we got on the boat quickly with no problems. We did not venture out into San Juan.

This is our 10th cruise, most of them on RCCL and we have always enjoyed our trips. This was no exception, although it is probably past time for the Brilliance to see dry dock (which is where she is going shortly).

We have cruised 13 other times, first time with Royal Caribbean. Expected it to be great... it was just good. The ship's public areas were beautiful and kept clean. Our stateroom was roomy ( for a stateroom ,) however during the course of the week, our toilet had to be fixed 3 times. We enjoyed this cruise, but we wouldn't rave about it.
Embarkation: very smooth. We arrived around 1:30 so no crowds rushing on. We were allowed to purchase 2 bottles of wine and bottled water to carry on at the liquor store right at the port - nice touch!
Room: room was fine, steward was good. You do need to request ice and robes if you want them.

Flew in 2 days prior, got a taxi to hotel Milano, explored San Juan. Loved the hotel and location.
We arrived at the port few minutes before 11, the embarkation started at exactly 11 am. Even though there was a long line, we were on the ship in no more than 20 minutes.
