We were in heaven for two weeks on the Crown on the 4/19 and 4/26 sailings. Six months ago when we booked, we tried to book 2 one week cruises (this would have been our 15th and 16th "Elite status" Princess cruises). However, Princess indicated to our travel agent that she should book it as one 14 day cruise. Even six months before the cruise, we couldn't book a mini-suite as all mini's and ...

This was our 2nd cruise. Since our first cruise was on RCCL to Bermuda I wasn't sure that Princess could measure up to the great time we had. But my concern was for naught. The Crown Princess is a great ship and calmed any fears I had. We flew from Washington DC National Airport to San Juan with a change in Miami. Our travel agent booked the flights for less than half the price that Princess ...

This review is written from the perspective of having cruised on Royal Caribbean twice in the past, once on Sovereign of the Seas, and once on Mariner of the Seas. We are in our mid-forties, with no children. Pre-Cruise We stayed on day pre-cruise at the Caribe Hilton in the Punta Terra district of San Juan. While the hotel and grounds are beautiful, we would not stay here again because of the ...

To begin... Around the month of January, my wife and I decided it was time for another cruise. I began the ritualistic activities of searching all kinds of internet resources, including the usual Expedia, TravelZoo, etc. Then a friend of mine introduced me to two websites that changed my way of booking a cruise. First, I was introduced to this website. What greater way to learn about different ...

This is my Review of the Crown Princess from April 19th till April 26th. Just a little background. I went with a buddy of mine his GF and his GF's roommate. We are all in our mid 20's. By the way this review is going to be more of a story of our trip then a review. I hope it helps and you guys get a good laugh at the same time. It started on Saturday with my buddy and I leaving out of Boston at ...

I have just returned from an amazing week on the crown princess. This was my 6th cruise, 4th with a Carnival Corp company (Cunard, Holland America and Windstar) first with princess. After this last week, I will most likely never cruise with another line again. I traveled with my Mom for this cruise. She had Cat. I and I had Cat. C, they were nice enough to upgrade both of our rooms to those ...

Review of the Crown Princess April 26th - May 03 This took me a while to get out, but since I have used Cruise Critic daily since booking my cruise back in October I wanted to leave a review. My hope is that it will give some good information to people who are considering Princess vs. another cruise line which is what brought me to Cruise Critic in the first place. To start this was a cruise ...

Well, where do I begin! This is my 6th Cruise, 2nd with Princess, I won't say it was the worst cruise (Carnival has that spot!) 3 on Royal & 1 on Carnival but it certainly wasn't the best. Getting on board was great, smooth process and fast. We landed around noon and hopped in a taxi for $21.50 for 2 people and 4 bags...I would do this again as we didn't have to "WAIT" for the shuttle and ...

After being on many other cruises, this was the absolute worst! We could only compare it to a repositioning cruise. If you ever did one, you know what I mean! Our destinations were: San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Kitts, St. Georges (Grenada), Bonaire, Aruba and back to San Juan. They should rethink Grenada and Bonaire. Absolutely nothing worth seeing on these islands. Unless you scuba or snorkel. The ...

Each time we go cruising, we look forward to the next cruise even more. My first cruise I thought I would be bored. "Seven days on a ship. What will I find to keep myself occupied." There are so many things going on that the real problem is deciding what we will have to miss. On board activities. A big part of the fun is the ongoing process of meeting different individuals. Trivia contests, usually ...
