We found the negative reviews to be unfounded. We did not wait in line excessively for anything. We never had difficulty finding a seat in the garden café and this was spring break week. We sailed on the Epic 2/5-12 to the Southern Caribbean—Aruba, Curacao, Bonaire, St Lucia, St Kitts. The itinerary was exceptional. Epic ship often gets a bad rap. I cruised on the Epic last year on a very similar itinerary, but was in the Haven on that cruise. The rooms aboard the Epic have an awful design with no separate bathroom. The toilet was in a tube to the left as you walked in and the bathtub (which was very slippery) was to the right. This was our 4th cruise (all on NCL) but the first on a completely full (as in 600 over double occupancy!) ship. While there were line ups for most things (dining, bars, etc), everything moved along pretty well with a few exceptions.

The NCL Epic is a great ship and we had a lovely time! The Haven is amazing and really enjoyed most of the food and beverages we consumed.
If you can get a posh pass, definitely do so! The loungers were comfortable and the bartender/servers knew our names by the end of day 1!
