We arrived in San juan late on Sunday evening after flights from Manchester via JFK. The airport is close to the Port and the princess arranged transfers were reliable and quick as normal. Boarding was very quick as it was nearly 10pm by the time we got to the ship so majority of people were already on. I did hear some horror stories from people who Arrived earlier in the day as customs delayed ...

This ship caters more to the young adult/adult crowd. Although it touts youth programs it really does not have much to attract a 10 year old. No climbing wall, super slide, mini golf. The best you get is a small kiddie pool and the two regular pools. However, there are bars and lounges everywhere for the over 21 crowd. Get the full kids drink package, it allows you to get free milk shakes ...

It was a good cruise. Embarkation: We arrived via Princess transfer and I believe we were onboard by 12ish. The embarkation process was easy. Common Areas: The common areas were fine. The cushions on the poolside chairs were showing some wear. Food: We aren't the dress up types so we ate every meal in the buffet since we could wear shorts. I thought the food was ...

(From San Juan to NYC; kept humming "America" from West Side Story) Our third Princess cruise, first in Caribbean.  My wife and I stayed two nights in Old San Juan pre cruise.  Old city is walkable; unless you are venturing further afield no car needed or recommended - traffic and parking are tough.  Free trolleys will take you around the city conveniently.  We stayed at Hotel El Milano - room and ...

INTRODUCTION We just returned from the Caribbean Princess after having sailed the May 17th Spring repositioning voyage.  What I am about to write is an exhaustive review of the ship, how well our expectations were met, and (if you will allow) a subject matter I would like to vent upon a little further.  That will come later in my review. I consider myself a veteran cruiser having sailed ...

Backround:   I cruised with my husband, we have 10 cruises under our belt, 6 being NCL.   We love to cruise as it gives both of us options to enjoy and new experiences.Hotel:   After a great flight on Jet blue we stayed pre cruise in the Howard Johnson's in Old San Juan, it was a simple, clean, and very reasonable hotel.   With the free trolley right outside our door it was VERY convenient.   It ...
