Family Thanksgiving Getaway

This was my family and I first Royal Caribbean cruise recommended to me by my co-workers. My children age range from late teen to young adult, they all out-grew my beloved favorite Disney Cruise vacations :( We had such a great time on our cruise over the Thanksgiving holiday. There were so many activities, entertainment for all ages to enjoy. The crew members were all so professional, ...

This was a family cruise and it was chosen based on itinerary. Embarkation lines were confusing. There were lines for frequent travelers, travelers with luggage, travelers with no luggage, and those that needed assistance. All lines eventually became one line inside the door. The ship needs to be updated. Saw rusted areas. Broken equipment in the gym. Automatic doors that do not automatically ...

This is my sixth cruise on Royal Caribbean and my third New Years cruise. It is also the second time on this ship (previously in 2009). I am very picky and was a little worried about the condition of the ship, based on some of the most recent reviews. That said, from the moment I walked on the ship, I was pleased at the cleanliness and condition of the ship as a whole, including staterooms. ...

This was my 12th cruise and 4th with Royal Caribbean, and a cruise is all of what you make it. That being said, we had a great time on this ship but this ship needs some refurbishing quickly. My husband and I left on September 5th, we arrived the day before in PR and stayed at the ESJ hotel, then on Saturday we arrived on this ship, this was our second time on this ship and we booked it for the ...

I have cruised many times on Celebrity, Carnival and Royal Caribbean. Of all the cruises this was the worst. Sad to say that the food on Carnival was better than the food on this ship. The waiter was awesome the quality of the food was not so very good at all. On one night they served Chicken Cordon Bleu. This was the worst thing that I have ever seen given to the guest on any ship. It was very ...

The staff and service on Royal Caribbean was excellent. Our room was also extremely clean. Food was average. The my time dining food was definitely better than the buffet and our waiters very attentive. My family agreed that the Windjammer was not good, like a Golden Coral. Lots of food, but other than the lettuce and salad, poor quality, poor tasting, and lots of passengers grabbing. We did ...

With any cruise there is good and bad. The Adventures of the sea is a nice ship and was kept very clean. Staff was perfectly friendly and helpful. Food in the main dining room was average at best. None of the steaks were good so I stayed away from them after the first try. Plenty of variety in the Windjammer café and the pizzeria food was pretty good. Good: Clean ship Well ...

Our most recent cruise was the Oasis about 1 1/2 year ago. We have to say we were a little disappointed. Pros: The food was usual RC food. We had no problems with it and could always find something on the menu. The waiter waiter and assistant were excellent. The room was clean and made up timely. One time we needed extra towels, I called housekeeping and they were there in 15 minutes. The ship ...

First --- the Dining Staff was Great!!!! Food Was Great!!! For the most part the ship was clean. Lets see if I can remember all the negatives. Deck 11 and the ones above you could smell sewage, the ATM was Out Of Order the entire cruise, Around our balcony door was plenty of rust, In one of the public bathrooms the toilet seat lid was broken off, there should be more stations on the tv like other ...

RCI Adventure of the Seas from San Juan, March 13, 2011We had a very nice time.Booking: RCI has very efficient on-line-check and in posting pages. Printed most of tour documents on-lineFlights to San Juan, Expensive flights due to the season, and American and Canadian spring breaks. Delta charges $23 bag online-$26 at the airport. Baggage Service is now very good- we pay dearly for it. Tip: Get a ...
