In overall opinion the cruise is good but the food menu is poor. The meats selection is not good for my opinion. I was confuse because I did not known if the salads and pasta were the principal plate and the meats the complements. Too much foods with differents ingredients and strong tastes. I think that the foots must be provide by contries and choosing the must allusive of every region or ...

Overall Fun Ship! Just a few flaws

The activities on the ship were well run, and a lot of fun. They did have a great balance of events in types in both English and Spanish. The ports we went to were great in the south-east Caribbean, and we were docked at each of them. The excursions we did through the ship were great values and a ton of fun. We did two of them and both were well run as well. The dinner service was excellent, and ...

Nice ship & crew

I choose this cruise for the itinerary. 5 ports in the Caribbean. The ship was recently refurbished and you can tell. The carpets are new and clean. The chairs in many of the venues are comfortable. Even though I went during Spring break, the ship never seemed crowded. There was always a chair available near the pools. I found the crew in all areas to be friendly, helpful, and professional. Meals ...

Nice cruise but bad drinks

The rum punch on board sucks! Drink rum punch while on excursion, especially Cockspur on Barbados. The Windjammer (self service restaurant) is fine. The quality of the food is lower in the Sapphire (main restaurant). Also, in the main restaurant, the clothing advice was not enforced. Some people appeared in shorts and t-shirts at a formal night while others wore suits and ties or tuxedos. The ...

This was our first cruise and we must say it was fantastic. We found the staff to go over and beyond to make people happy. The deluxe stateroom with balcony was a great place to sit and enjoy the breeze late evening. The main dining room staff were right on top of things and the service was good and quick. The Champagne bar staff were so pleasant and knew our names immediately and remembered ...

We chose this cruise because we had 32 friends going on the cruise and a lot of them were first time cruisers and like to party and have a great time. Had a great time we did a private catamaran and Sophie and crew did an EXCELLENT job, and half the price of the cruise ship. We all did the drink package and by Wednesday there was no Crown Royal or Budlight on the ship, pretty disappointing ...

A busy itinerary but overall a good cruise

We booked this Adventure of the Seas cruise with a group of GoldWing Motorcycle people. Had 102 people in the group and enjoyed their company along with the events they planned. Noting that the ship had been in dry dock in January, we thought is was lacking in maintenance on little things. Like cabin door hinges that were loose, the safe numbers were almost worn off, the shower door leaked onto ...

Awesome Itinerary and Good Ship

The itinerary is port heavy but that is expected with a Southern Caribbean cruise. The islands are beautiful and well worth a visit or two, maybe three! The ship itself is an ideal size for my family, two adults, two teens. With the slides, flow rider, sports centre, shows, ice rink and a few other things, there is plenty to keep the teens busy. I would have liked to see some more organization ...

General comments: We are fond of RC, we have been on four of their cruises so far. It's a good value and we can actually afford a grand suite. Fellow cruisers are varied in terms of age groups etc. and we like that, too. The Adventure has been refurbished and it shows. Staff are great. The food is not tippy-top-notch gourmet, but we are always pleased. The Worst of the worst: I will never take ...

Food good, ports good, mattress and pillow not so good

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary. We could tell that the carpets and love seat were new, however I had back and neck aches the whole time -- they needed to replace the mattress and pillows during the updating. This is our 2nd cruise on RC. Our first was to Alaska and we had a wonderful experience, so we wanted to try RC again on a new adventure. We have never been to the ...
