Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

Very disappointed with appearance of the ship. Definitely needs over hauled. My bathroom had mold, my balcony was dirty. The casino director didn't get the action in the casino the way they should. They took us to Martinique instead of St. Lucia. It rained that day and they had NO extra activities for us. People were wearing jeans and shorts in the dining room the entire week ...

Gloria White housekeeping room #8381 & #8385 was amazing!!! Two days prior leaving, this crusie line changed a port that was the main reason for booking this cruise! NO COMPENSATION WAS OFFERED!! I had my own private excursion booked and non-refundable with less than 7 days notice. Definitely don't blame the private company. This cruise employees checked out 5 towels for a port excursion ...

Worst Food and Poor Attitudes

This will be brief. And, yes, I am writing to Guest Relations at the RCI headquarters. We booked a junior suite and it was great. We love having the additional space. We did not eat in the dining room as we just wanted to relax and not have to dress for dinner. The food in the Windjammer was terrible. We had a group of four and our entire group thought the food was bad. I am lactose ...

Ship and crew were poor

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Adventure of the Seas

This was a family vacation for 20+ people. We decided on RC primarily based on the destinations. This ship was in a bad repair, and the crew didn't seem to care. While I can overlook things like frosted glass, a little bit of rust in the corner of the shower, and dated furniture...the real problem was the lack of care. Simple things to fix like: burnt out light bulbs were left unattended, ...

A bit of a disappointment

I wanted the experience of visiting 4 ports of call and a chance to explore San Juan. Thanks to flight issues we ended up never making it to our hotel and was not offered any type of refund. Never use the Air 2 Sea program, it is a disaster and you pay extra for poor service. The ship was okay, our stateroom was a bit on the tired side but I could live with that. Our cabin attendant was ...

Dirty Ship

This ship was in poor condition. The spas by the pools were full of rust, and tiles ready to fall off.. The room was not sanitary. When we walked into one of our rooms there was human waste in the toliet and on the shower curtain. the toliet seat was broken. Hair all over the bathroom floor. When we walked in to our other room there were dirty underwear on the floor from previous guest. ...

SICK ship

Older ship. Nice, but a SICK ship. Multiple times smell of sewage. Many of our group got respiratory issues. I lost my voice the second day. We have pictures of mold on the ship. DO NOT sail this ship! Food was not up to Royal Caribbean quality. The slots in the Casino are poor. The whole time I never heard anyone hit any kind of larger money. The ship was clean. The crew were nice and helpful. ...

Should be renamed "Royal Carnival"

We chose the cruise for the itinerary. Unfortunately, the itinerary changed at least 3 weeks prior to sailing, yet we were not notified until the night before with not even a message on their website. The food was mediocre at best and sometimes quite poor. How can you mess up pancakes and waffles (way undercooked)? They have added premium items of up to $30 to the main dining room menu. A 1-1/4 ...

Go for the Itinerary but forget the ship

We cruised the A-B-C Islands and St. Maarten from San Juan on the Adventure of the Seas. As a Platinum level member (courtesy of reciprocity with Celebrity), we had a dedicated baggage check in at the pier which saved us from waiting in a ridiculous lengthy line. Since we had a suite, we also had a dedicated line with nobody else in it- so embarkation was terrific. We selected the cruise based ...

Trip was OK, but definitely lacking in some areas.

Chose this cruise based on itinerary and our vacation time. While the staff aboard the ship was extremely friendly I do not plan to cruise on Royal Caribbean again. There is a lack of continuity in information from the website, R C Customer service on phone and the individuals that handle transfers and crew members. Several times I asked a question, I received different answers from each. The ...
