Booking agent Dorothy on RC site lied at time of booking seven months ago. Thirteen in our group. We're told would get all adjoining rooms on balcony with all partitions open for us. WRONG. Not allowed. Maid told us to go get a Phillips screwdriver and take them off ourselves. We didn't. We were told anytime dining..WRONG. Forced to 8:30 eating with two children. Toilet broken..fixed after ...

We cruised on the Adventure of the seas in Feb 2016 and I was disappointed in many ways. First the ship was run down. The room was a sunset veranda but there was no view. We were told the view was partially obstructed. In reality it was totally obstructed. We booked a shore excursion that through the cruise line and they claimed we would see the oldest working rum distillery in the ...

It has been 9 years since we used RCCL and the changes have been significant. No more: ice in room (unless you ask), no more towel animals (only 3x per cruise) only one steward per room (no assistant), lower quality and choices of food, charges for nearly everything, rooms smelly and unclean and dinner dress code non-existent. Adventure of the Seas is for young drinkers and was poorly designed. ...

Over the years we have completed over 60 cruises on different cruise lines. We recently completed our third cruise on Royal Caribbean. We sailed on the Adventure of the Seas out of San Juan Puerto Rico. This was the worst cruise we have ever taken and positively the last on Royal Caribbean. We hadn't sailed on Royal for a few years and decided to given them another try after some disappointing ...

A Royal Disappointment!

I want to start off by saying that the ports were all wonderful (RC had nothing to do with that other than getting us to each port). Our room was spacious and clean, but dated 1672. The TV choices were poor unless you wanted to PAY for premium movies. I purchased the UP (ultimate package) and always ended up waiting 20 minutes or more to get a drink. The bar menu was the same at all bars except ...

The Worst Cruise Ever, Wasted Time and Money, Ruined Vacation

This is the worst cruise we ever had. Food choice is better at any fast food place or Chinese restaurant, the idea to have open just one pizza cafe on the 5th floor after 8pm for 3500 people is far beyond logical thinking. After 9pm it was the only place, except room service, to have a snack with a couple dozen of shaking tables where hundreds of people were trying to find a free chair to ...

Worst cruise experience EVER! I understand that cruise ships break, but that is the time to STEP UP one's customer service, not pretend that it isn't happening! We got in line to board the ship at around 11:30 AM, I had read where you could board by 12, even though the ship didn't set sail until 8PM. It was hot and humid, but there were locals selling water for $1 a bottle. After about an hour ...

Most disorganized ship afloat

While there were some positive thisngs about this cruise, the negative were so overpowering that I will probably never use Royal Caribbean again. The service in the diniing room was impeccable, although when we initially were seated (at the 6pm seating) we were given a cramped table next to both the sairway and the kitchen. This was changed after I threatened to withhold all dining room ...

Just returned last night. 7 Days on Adventures of the Sea out of San Juan. Stops in Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua, St. Maarten & St. Croix. This ship is 10 years old and in need of updates. Inefficient crew to passenger ratio. Overall service is fair. Too few room attendants. Too few wait staff. Too small public dining area (cafeteria) to accommodate 3300 passengers. Difficult to find ...

My husband, sister, and I flew down to San Juan a day early for our October 28th Adventure of the Seas Cruise for 7 days to the Southern Caribbean. The overall food on the ship was bad to poor. Don't get me wrong it looked great, but it had no flavor. When I asked our server in the dining room for some garlic power to spice up the food she told me no. I wish I could tell you that the opinion on ...
