Summary: Beautiful ship. Disappointing experience. Details: Just got back from 22 day cruise on Cunard's Queen Elizabeth from San Francisco to Hawaii, Bora Bora, Tahiti, New Zealand, Sydney, returning home to San Francisco via 13 hour Quantas flight. It was our 20th wedding anniversary and I wanted to do something special for my wife. Especially since we had planned a Tahiti ...

Nice Ship, Great Itinerary, Lousy food and Amateurish Entertainment.

We also left San Francisco 2/5/18 for Sydney on Q2. The Itinerary was great, the Ship clean, and the crew professional. However, with a number of 4-5 day stretches at sea, one would expect some professional entertainment and varied daytime activities. We recently (3/3/2015) returned from a 22 day cruise on the Cunard Queen Elizabeth (QE) . The cruise was the San Francisco to Sidney, Australia segment of their around the world cruise. Based on this experience, we will never, ever go on a Cunard ...

We have just returned from a cruise on the Arcadia - San Francisco to Sydney - and to say we were disappointed is an understatement. Having sailed on the last world voyage of the Oriana in 2012 from Brisbane to San Francisco, we were expecting a similar fabulous experience. The Arcadia had little to offer in the way of entertainment, shops and service. It is widely known that once on board you ...

After two nights in San Francisco we boarded Arcadia for our voyage through the Pacific to Sydney. First impression was that the staff looked worn out. I do understand that change-over days are hectic & tiring for them all. All went reasonably well for the first four days & the food was quite acceptable but then my wife developed what we were to find out was called "Arcadia Cough", I got it a ...
