Ruby Princess needs a complete overhaul of her plumbing etc. There were extensive problems with toilets not working, flooding in some cabins and even the kitchen got flooded. There was a fire in the crew area on the last night as well as a sudden listing to one side. Several people were picked up by ambulances when we got to Ft Lauderdale in the morning. We choose Princess because it sailed out of San Francisco. We were able to take the Amtrac train out of Fresno, CA at 6:00 AM and were in front of the Buffet at 11:30 AM. This cruise for 20 days had lots of problems. Most importantly, the temperature on board was uncontrolled. The ship was freezing. People wore sweaters everywhere. The polo grill was so cold you couldn't eat in the front area. We were told that the AC is broken and the thermostats don't work. That also includes the cabins.
