Well a floating nursing home is how it is best described - that said we met some great people and visited some amazing places.

Overall trip was fantastic but first and last time with this line. Embarkation - Fast and easy - we walked on the ship and checked in in the Insignia Lounge to get ticked off we had watched the safety video then dropped our carry on off at our cabin and went for lunch all in under an hour. DINING/FOOD/DRINKS,- - we found waves, the food hall/Terrace all good with some daily changes in food ...

A Luxury Cruise Line That Is Not As Good As Most Premium Cruise Lines

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Insignia

We had not cruised for several years (pandemic and health issues) and were really excited to try a luxury cruise line. All of our previous 20 or so cruises have been with Premium cruise lines. We should have tried a short Oceania cruise before committing to a World Cruise so the fact that we were so disappointed was our fault entirely. On the positive side, the ship size was perfect. We were able ...

Where do I begin? Their package was all-inclusive as described however, included were the 15 drinks/day which didn’t rollover if you never made it to the 15 mark., unlimited intermittent WIFI per 1 device only., a specialty dining inclusion, (I’m pretty sure you had to pay for Sabatini’s Italian restaurant as well as pay a Room service delivery charge if ordered from app or in the stateroom ...

Panama cruise new locks. Locks were great, that was certainly the best part of cruise… Ruby is showing its age. The medallion system that Princess forces on you is problematic. You might order a ginger ale from a waiter (that takes 5 minutes to enter into his device) then wait 10-20 minutes for delivery to your table. This happened again and again. You might order a cocktail while sitting at ...

Luz and Joey, both from Philippines, were a joke. The morning tv show was them acting like small children. Couldn’t understand them. Since Luz was on the mic so often and then every night after the shows, most Americans complained to each other about her horrible accent. More than 1/2 passengers were European and Asian. Don’t know how they could understand. Did not enjoy the bands who were very ...

Only ship doing full Panama Canal transit at time of the booking. May be the first person to loose weight on a cruise ship Ship just came out of dry dock. Suppose to be in Ft Lauderdale night before cruise but didn't arrive until 10 am cruise day prior to cruise. Long wait in terminal. Ship was dirty. Mud / salt on cabin balcony walls & floor. Finally used pool towels to clean area and ...

Cancelled Ports=Disappointing Cruise

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Regatta

After much research, we chose this sailing because of the nine ports of call included in the itinerary, which means fewer days at sea of course. We boarded the ship in San Francisco on Mon. Oct 8 with a 6 pm sailing scheduled. Emergency evacuation drill was in the hour prior to sailing. After getting us all assembled on the deck, the captain came over the PA system telling us that due to a ...

Oceania Regatta – Panama Canal – From San Francisco to Miami – 18 Days – October 8 to 26, 2018 This voyage was a significant disappointment to me, my spouse and members of our group. It is doubtful if we and our group will patronize Oceania again because we did not receive a premium cruise line ship nor product and the negative specifics of this cruise as noted below sealed our ...

Three and A Half Ports Deleted - Why?

We selected this cruise for it's itinerary - San Francisco to Miami with stops in Catallina, Cabo San Lucas, Acapulco, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, Columbia and Havana. On day one an announcement was made that because of Hurricane Sergio we could not stop at Cabo San Lucas, El Salvador, Nicaragua and we would get to Costa Rica very late in the day. Pretty quickly "Hurricane ...

Horrible voyage aboard the Regatta

Primary reason for choosing this cruise was the ports of call. Unfortunately three of our ports of call were bypassed by Oceania; Carbo San Lucas Mexico, El Salvador and Nicaragua. Instead we spent 2 1/2-additional days at sea. It is like a cruise to no where. We have no idea why the ship was unable to arrive at Costa Rica on time. We arrived five hours late causing us to miss the eco excursion, ...
