No Aloha on this cruise.

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Crown Princess

We bid on an upgrade and were successful. Initially we were in a penthouse suite on Riviera deck. Room was too noisy to sleep so we requested a move. We were moved to Aloha deck at the back of the ship and unfortunately it was actually worse than the previous room. The guest service supervisor was rude and dismissive and told us we expected too much and should have spent more money on a better ...

So So, Average, Meh, Mid, Boring

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Crown Princess

Words to describe our first time on Princess: average, uninspired, meh, just ok. We usually cruise on Royal Caribbean or Norwegian, but since Crown Princess had a sailing out of SF during our ski week, we decided to try it. Going in, I knew it would be a smaller ship without the activities of an Oasis class RC ship. What I didn't expect was how average it all was. Nothing blew us away. We ...

Noisy Room!

Friends were traveling on this cruise ship and I was invited to go with them. They had a balcony room on 14. I had to pay double for a room because I was considered "traveling solo!" Public restrooms were horrible! Water was leaking from a light fixture in the ceiling while we were waiting for our room. That was a sign of things to come. Several leaks throughout the ship. Don't ...

Well a floating nursing home is how it is best described - that said we met some great people and visited some amazing places.

Overall trip was fantastic but first and last time with this line. Embarkation - Fast and easy - we walked on the ship and checked in in the Insignia Lounge to get ticked off we had watched the safety video then dropped our carry on off at our cabin and went for lunch all in under an hour. DINING/FOOD/DRINKS,- - we found waves, the food hall/Terrace all good with some daily changes in food ...

Sad Decline for the Once Shinning Royal Princess

Review for a Pacific Coastal Cruise on Royal Princess

In 2015 we had cruised the Royal Princess in the Caribbean for 10 days and it was wonderful. The ship was less that two-years old, lots of activities, the food was great, service superior, and the ship shinned from stem to stern. It was very sad to see the declines of this once great line. The service is still very good, but the ship looks worn, and the only good food to be found was in ...

My wife and I sailed on Royal Princess Cruise 15 Nights to Hawaii from San Francisco (27 Mar – 11 Apr) I am Elite Captain’s Circle Member. Our Cabin Steward was excellent Elizalde. Also special praise for Mr Xavier (Guest Service Director) who was extremely helpful with a major issue I had with the Coffee Card/Elite Benefits. Let me start by saying that Royal Princess Cruise Ship is ...

Princess has Gone Way Downhill

We were on a 15 night cruise to Hawaii on the Royal Princess from February 10th to the 25th. My wife and I are both in our 70’s and Princess has always been one of our favorite cruise lines. Sadly, the food on Princess has markedly declined and since food is a big part of cruising for us, we will consider other cruise lines before we choose Princess again. It is like saying goodbye to an old ...

A Luxury Cruise Line That Is Not As Good As Most Premium Cruise Lines

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Insignia

We had not cruised for several years (pandemic and health issues) and were really excited to try a luxury cruise line. All of our previous 20 or so cruises have been with Premium cruise lines. We should have tried a short Oceania cruise before committing to a World Cruise so the fact that we were so disappointed was our fault entirely. On the positive side, the ship size was perfect. We were able ...

Disappointed

We have done basically the same cruise 3 times. Always with Princess. This January 6-16 2023 was the third. The food was ok at best. We tried the Concerto dining room the first couple of nights. First night - not bad and we joined another very nice couple. The second night, I felt like we were in a crowded cafeteria - the food was over cooked (prime rib) cold, underdone potato that was ...

SAN FRANCISCO – HAWAIIAN ISLANDS Roundtrip Deck 15 M725 “Premium Deluxe Balcony”, a completely fabricated description I am an event planner, so hyper-critical. My mantra is that it takes no more effort to do things right than wrong. But you have to CARE. Bottom line for us was ...
