7 days of food for a 15 day cruise!

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Royal Princess

We have been on over 30 cruises and this was our 11th Princess cruise including 5 wonderful ones last year. We were looking for a little sunshine and we love Hawaii, so this cruise to seemed to fit the bill. We flew into SFO a day early, and the next day enjoyed one of the smoothest embarkations ever! We were on the ship about 15 minutes after arriving at the port! We booked an “obstructed” ...

I have been on over 20 cruises with many different companies. I use to put Princess up there with the best of them but not any more. I am a coeliac and the choice of food for us was so bad, there was nothing after the dinning room closed in the evening. The bakery had 1 thing everyday which was a rice pudding or yogurt mousse sort of thing. They displayed a lovely choice of filled sarnies, home ...

Considering Princess? Don't!!

My Husband and I just returned from a 15-day cruise to Hawaii aboard the Princess Cruise Line. Firstly, the food was HORRIBLE!! The food was bland & tasteless, meat was tough & hard to eat, breads, rolls were dry & hard. Oatmeal & grits had huge lumps (3 inches long by 1 inch wide to give you an idea) and were off-putting. Multiple times we were told “we ran out of that”. Basic things like ...

I love the 15 day Hawaii cruise! I have been on Grand Princess and Ruby Princess to Hawaii from San Francisco. Sailed from Pier 27 San Francisco. Inside cabin IF Anytime dining room worked best even with reservations. Less crowded, less waiting. Great food and local dishes. Hawaiian fish and pork. Awesome Ukulele, Hula and Hawaiian craft activities every sea day. ...

This was part 2 of a back to back. We had transit passes and took off early morning for a long walk in San Francisco. After significant improvement on Mexico sailing things really fell apart again on this Hawaii sailing. Firstly the noise level on ship in every venue is so amped up that there is barely a quiet area anywhere just to have a conversation. IT IS DEAFENING. You can clearly hear ships ...

World Cruise 2023 Disaster

I chose this cruise for the itinerary. The experience was 0 stars. 1. Free WIFI was mostly no WIFI, when it was available it was agonizingly slow and kept disconnecting, allowed one device per cabin. IT was totally not interested in solving connection issues. Movies were not updated for 6 months. 2. Brown congealed lettuce was served in the salad bars, hot food not hot, cold food not ...

A Luxury Cruise Line That Is Not As Good As Most Premium Cruise Lines

We had not cruised for several years (pandemic and health issues) and were really excited to try a luxury cruise line. All of our previous 20 or so cruises have been with Premium cruise lines. We should have tried a short Oceania cruise before committing to a World Cruise so the fact that we were so disappointed was our fault entirely. On the positive side, the ship size was perfect. We were able ...

We have done basically the same cruise 3 times. Always with Princess. This January 6-16 2023 was the third. The food was ok at best. We tried the Concerto dining room the first couple of nights. First night - not bad and we joined another very nice couple. The second night, I felt like we were in a crowded cafeteria - the food was over cooked (prime rib) cold, underdone potato that was ...

Significant Improvement

Embarkation easy and without incident. Our cabin was midship on Starboard (Right)side and as we were on a back to back trip this is were we wanted to be for 25 days. Sadly the balcony cabin had a terrible smell of decaying flesh, fish, gas and sewage that rapidly got worse. The fumes were noxious, we had to be moved in a hurry. This move was done with NO ARGUMENT from Princess. We moved to a ...

SAN FRANCISCO – HAWAIIAN ISLANDS Roundtrip Deck 15 M725 “Premium Deluxe Balcony”, a completely fabricated description I am an event planner, so hyper-critical. My mantra is that it takes no more effort to do things right than wrong. But you have to CARE. Bottom line for us was ...
