CUNARD ARE LIVING IN THE PAST

Review for Queen Elizabeth to Transatlantic

I boarded queen elizabeth in san francisco for a 36 night cruise on sunday 24 july 2022. This is my first cruise on this ship and i suspect that it will be my last unless significant changes are made. The check-in at san francisco was the worst i have experienced in almost 50 cruises. I arrived at 10.30 anticipating 11.00 boarding. i was told that boarding would commence at 11.30. A ...

Pleasant escape from Winter, along Pacific coast of Central & South America

Oceania cruises are great for couples (nothing interesting for children or singles) This cruise was from San Franciso to Santiago Chile, i.e. a 22-day section of a world cruise. In addition to embarkation and debarkation, we visited these ports: Santa Barbara and San Diego in USA; Cabo, Ixtapa, Acapulco and Puerto Chapas in Mexico; Puerto Quetzel in Gautemala, Acajutla in El Salvador; Manta ...

Disorganized

Review for Regatta to Transpacific

Regatta, SF to Tahiti Nov 1-Nov17, 2019. Concierge cabin deck 7. Worst cruise I have ever been on. Most disorganized ship ever and I have traveled with most of them. Left-over foods served, same foods daily. Service desks, destination desks, concierge desk, top management in restaurants uncaring and downright rude to guests. Rude staff. Ship Regatta just underwent revamping and it was ...

Good, decent fellow humans

This is the 11th day on this cruise ship Regatta. People complain about minor things but let’s stop for a moment and really think of what people complain about! I have met the most decent, hard working, humble employees on the planet. They treat you well, they attend and go beyond their work. One must remember these people are months and months without husband, wife, daughters, sons and loved ...

We chose this cruise, back-to-back, San Francisco to Papeete and then on to Sydney, because of the itinerary and we have been pleased so far. This is our second Oceania cruise. The weather has been great, the facilities on the ship are in good order and our cabin (veranda) has ample storage room and is nicely furnished, good bedding, fake wicker on the veranda. Embarkation was very fast and ...

Elegant ship with wonderful service

Review for Crystal Symphony to Pacific Coastal

This was my first Crystal Cruise and my second ocean cruise. I was charmed and amazed by the lovely ship (Crystal Symphony) and especially the service. I couldn't sit down anywhere without someone popping up within the minute asking if they could bring me something. The pool deck (Deck 11) was blissfully uncrowded with comfortable seating and plenty of throws to wrap up in on a cold day (and this ...

We chose this cruise for the itinerary. We're a couple of a certain age. Second Crystal cruise, dozens of other cruises over the decades. Our cruise Beijing to Hong Kong in 2015 was my favorite cruise ever. Cabin: Outside window on deck 7. Balconies were all booked when we signed up. No upsell offer unlike last time. Cabin was clean and well taken care of. Ship must have sailed ...

Excellent Alaska Cruise

Review for Regatta to Alaska

We've always wanted to go to Alaska and out of the blue, got an Oceania brochure in the mail. With a couple RC cruises under our belts (which were fine), we decided to try a smaller, more upscale cruise line. Mainly we were looking to avoid the crowds & lines of the big ships, and see if the food was as good as they brag about. Both hopes were met. There were times walking around the ship ...

Great Ship The ship is great and the staff is fantastic. It is nice the water and specialty coffees are included. No photographer constantly taking pictures. Also no cocktail staff in the theater during the shows. The rooms are very nice, larger than most other ships and the cabin attendants were unreal. The company touts the "Finest Cuisine at Sea" and theirs ranks among the more ...

Pacific Crossing Old School Way

Review for Queen Victoria to World Cruise

User Avatar

We were on the 21-day crossing of the Pacific from San Francisco to Sydney. We have been on 32 cruises on various lines and have sailed with Cunard many times before. We chose this crossing as a way to get us to our 2-month adventure in Australia. We were very happy with the transportation, but not too thrilled with the Queen Victoria nor the cruise ship features of this crossing. While we ...
