Not a fan of Princess after this cruise

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Grand Princess

This is our second cruise, as we did Alaska through Holland-America last year and wanted to get a taste of the Hawaiian islands. Princess offered this 15-day cruise from San Francisco to Hawaii and back. We have friends who have traveled many times with Princess and haven't complained. But our own experience was not as enjoyable. We had issues with dining, with shore excursions, with ...

From stepping on the Grand Princess I felt privleged by the crew! There wee so many crew members willing to asist when you may look lost (hehe). The public areas were nicely appointed in the fabrics used and the decor of each lounge. I was impressed that all the bars had their own menus different form others so I enjoyed trying each and especially the drinks made from Rob Floyd for ...

Great trip great crew but the boat is getting a little bit dated. My parents pick this cruise as they like to sail out of San Francisco. It was a family trip you’re a little concerned that there would be a lot of sea days however there was plenty to do on the ship. The crew was fantastic except for the cruise director Kevin he was just OK. They had a new game called high seas heist which was fun ...

15 day Grand Princess Hawaiian cruise. It was our first cruise on Princess and we had a wonderful time! The ship is old and shows signs of wear everywhere and the public restrooms were usually broken. The ship had a library and board games. Did not go to the spa. The food was very good and the service was fantastic! We had delicious dinners at the speciality restaurant, Sabatinos. Fun dining ...

We chose this cruise, back-to-back, San Francisco to Papeete and then on to Sydney, because of the itinerary and we have been pleased so far. This is our second Oceania cruise. The weather has been great, the facilities on the ship are in good order and our cabin (veranda) has ample storage room and is nicely furnished, good bedding, fake wicker on the veranda. Embarkation was very fast and ...

Regatta, SF to Tahiti Nov 1-Nov17, 2019. Concierge cabin deck 7. Worst cruise I have ever been on. Most disorganized ship ever and I have traveled with most of them. Left-over foods served, same foods daily. Service desks, destination desks, concierge desk, top management in restaurants uncaring and downright rude to guests. Rude staff. Ship Regatta just underwent revamping and it was ...

This is the 11th day on this cruise ship Regatta. People complain about minor things but let’s stop for a moment and really think of what people complain about! I have met the most decent, hard working, humble employees on the planet. They treat you well, they attend and go beyond their work. One must remember these people are months and months without husband, wife, daughters, sons and loved ...

Club Grazie Palazzo Venetian gifted me this cruise. I am thankful as it was a great restful vacation. We chose it as it had a lot of restful sea days and princess cruise slogan is come back new and the relaxation and fabulous beds ensured that. We were pampered the whole trip and the service cannot be exceeded anywhere else. Mauii was great to walk around and touch toes in ocean. The ...

45 trips with Princess, and the food was not as good as any of our previous cruises. The last show was very good, but the rest were old and older. Met an officer and we talked about the cruise and told him of our thoughts about the food. He said the home office had cut costs for food to a level where the ship could not buy as much as they wanted. I told him we were on the Caribbean Princess in ...

Hawaii round trip from S.F. a Ideal itinerary. Food in dining rooms have become Nothing to brag about. A surprise to us from a Princess product. Horizon court has a good selection, Drinks are now offered in Smaller Glasses instead of a regular glass. Why ? Guess they want you to order more and keep the dish washer busy. Service in the Horizon lacks as employees seem to have a attitude. ...
