Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Disney Wonder

The staff was wonderful, the food was good! I was disappointed that there wasn’t a lot to do on the ship. My son is 10 and the kids club was packed full of young kids (literally a line to get in) and he was too young for the teen club. The pool was tiny and packed most the time. The waves were unfortunately rough during our time, so the slide was closed most of the time and also made the theaters ...

While the itinerary of this cruise attracted me, and the shore excursions were pretty good, the food was poor, lukewarm and sometimes cold. I didn’t like the selections. I’m not into Dutch cuisine I guess. The service was extremely slow. Our room, a vista suite was very nice but there was no water pressure in the shower and while some may like the bathtub, it made things difficult for my husband ...

The great: 1. MDR food was wonderful in nearly every aspect. A variety of menu items, enough different to keep interest up. 2. Service in MDR (evenings), cabin stewards did an excellent job, friendliness of the service staff. 3. Heated swimming pool 4. Dive-In Cafe (tasty burgers) 5. NY Pizza and Deli (outstanding pizza if you custom order) 6. Trivia with Grant was not to be ...

On the whole, I would say that the ship’s staff took excellent care of me. My wife has some rather complicated nutritional needs, and for the most part her needs were adequately addressed. A special commendation goes to the Cabin Stewards, who work tirelessly and invisibly to keep your stay all about you and not about anything else. Whatever they are being paid, I am sure it’s not enough. The ...

Mediocre food and service with a few bright spots.

We took the solar eclipse and the best feature of it was the eclipse. We give it 2 stars because the inside cabin was spacious, had plenty of storage, and had the best shower I've ever had on a cruise ship. The food and service has some bright spots, but overall it was not great. Thoughts on restaurants on Koningsdam, solar eclipse cruise 2024: We got off to a bad start with an anytime ...

It was our 5th cruise on Holland. We had been sailing Royal since pandemic, but got a casino offer from Holland. We've always enjoyed Holland and this gave us a chance to get our foot in the door. We booked Club Orange and were not disappointed. Booked Have It All, probably not do in future, we get drinks in casino. We were worried after posts said drinks were only for 1 person, but they were ...

Horrible Cruise Saved by the Eclipse

The only thing that saved this cruise was the eclipse. This was my third cruise with HAL in three years 2 were on the Eurodam and then this one. I loved my other 2 cruises but this one really soured me on cruising. Confusing info: We received an email about boarding times which had people instructed to board at 3pm which was all aboard time. It was revised to 2:30. I’m sure this contributed to ...

Cabin- we had a nice balcony along with lots of space. 5 stars for that. Food- main dinning room was not good, at all. Whole wheat pasta for kids, is that a joke? Nope. No Caesar salad on dinner menus. No buffet at night either. Room service is available 24/7 though. We had the late dining at 8:15 pm, terrible. Kids were tired. Dinner service was awful, we appeared to be the last ones there ...

They really did ruin the crows nest. Half of the room is now set up with tables and games, plus the are hocking shore excursions up there. The MDR was good, the food in general was good as was the vast majority of the servers and staff. The bathroom in our balcony cabin was the highlight! Wonderful shower. We cannot understand why with a flat screen TV they have to have a wall protruding ...

Flawless

Another flawless dash down to Mexico and back home, and now some fresh feedback for the Bridge, as well as words for future guests. First, the staff of course. Predictably, guests are treated like gold; food is varied and superior to anything our party generally enjoys while home-bound; services from pingpong scholarship to spa, from massage to informing linedance tendencies... All of it, ...
