I've gone on Carnival, Norwegian and Royal Caribbean. Norwegian has the best dining with Specialty Restaurants but other than that it's a very boring ship. Too many children running around unattended, hot tubs full of children. I'll start with the highs: We enjoy the Jewel's size-not too big, not too small. The staff were all great, as usual. We enjoyed the shows. This cruise was wonderful.
Embarkation was horrible. No order. It was simply a free for all. No one followed what order there was.
Our dining room waiters were great and we never had a bad meal. These waiters would stand on their heads if you asked them to. Our room stewards were wonderful. Kept our cabin very clean. We made our own bed. Anything to make their job easier.

I read a lot of negative reviews on the Diamond Princess recently, so I went into this cruise with managed expectations. That being said, I had an amazing cruise with very little criticism.
