We had a stern cabin with a bath and full size window over the Promenade deck- this proved to be an excellent location and was larger than the cabins we have experienced on other ships. Our two cabin stewards were attentive, friendly and efficient throughout the cruise, without being intrusive. Read entire member review >>
Firstly it was not large as cabins go, certainly not a wheelchair accessible cabin. this cabin is Port side on deck 6 lower veranda deck, one window you cannot see out of as it is behind the bed and also it is in the part of the ship that has blocked in hand rails. The windows are silvered, but you can see in if you put your face close. Carpets are tired, but then they have sold it and who is worried about the carpets when P & O will change them when they take the ship over in October / November 2015. why am I doing a review on a cruise ship no one is going to book in the future? just to let off steam at how poor the accommodation was for the money. Wardrobe doors hanging off and took have a day and two men to get them in working order. Toilets blocked and had to have plumber in a couple times, The Israeli group had toilet water just pumping out of joints in the pipes. Not good what ever way you look at it. tired cabins, chipped wood, screws with heads showing holding cabinets together. disappointing. Read entire member review >>
Cabin was spacious, we opted for twin beds and I had enough room to drive my scooter in and do a 3 point turn between the beds lol and drive out the room with no problems. Clean and comfortable, the bathroom was shower over a deep bath although not so long for my partner who is 6ft 4 lol. Ive seen that some people say the ship is old but we didnt see any of that in the cabins and public spaces. Read entire member review >>
Was in Room 408 on deck 6. It was a fairly good location, accessible to everything. Only issue was some people at night that hung out on the deck were loud enough we could hear them in the room sometimes. But I would chose that location again and just get better ear plugs! The air conditioner was weak and asked several times to repair. They attempted but the stateroom was still too warm. Overhead we heard constant clanging and what sounded like carts rolling around so wondered if we were below the laundry room. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was more than acceptable. Lots of room for two with a good size sofa. Ocean view was nice. The bath tub was almost useless and had a high step in, but had more room for showers. Some noise was noticed from below (must be a machine shop on deck b below cabin) but the noise only occurred in the middle of the day when it didn't matter. Read entire member review >>
Adequate space with a bathtub in the bathroom. Although the room's window overlooked the promenade, there was no noticeable noise from the outside. However, the room must be partially below the kitchen for the main dining room and at times there was noise from above, but it never seemed to last too long. Read entire member review >>
cat c rooms 318 and 320 on lower promenade are not a great upgrade in our opinion due to the proximity of the wrap-around promenade deck!! all cabins on the lower promenade should be considered obstructed view rooms! Read entire member review >>
