Took a 7 day inside passage cruise to Alaska stopping in Juneau, Skagway, sailing through beautiful Glacier Bay, Ketchikan then Victoria Canada. Especially enjoyed Skagway with its goldrush history and Glacier Bay is absolutely stunning Beautiful, clean ship. We had the inside cabin and was delighted with the size, especially storage space for personal items. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, food was great, and the staff very friendly and accommodating. Especially enjoyed the afternoon tea time with scones and finger foods. You will have to pay for upgrades to dine in specialty restaurants and connect to wi-fi as with any other cruise line I imagine. As far as entertainment, we saw a couple of musical type shows which had some pretty amazing talent to be performing on a cruise ship. Also attended a couple of comic shows that were outstanding! Must do trip. Will definitely choose Princess again!! Read Less

We had an amazing vacation. Meet some very neat people. Looking forward to keeping in touch with them. The ship was clean and beautiful. Food in the Horizon Court was always really good. The best meal we had was at Curtis Stone Share! Go there and eat, you will not be disappointed. The Casino was fun we won some and lost some but overall it was fun. The artwork was pretty, not my style but nice to look at. We got the coffee card, but could have done without it. The coffee in the Horizon was just as good and free :). Soft serve ice cream was perfect, my hubby's favorite. :) We had great weather, only rained in Juneau. We did a little shopping in Juneau. We did the train ride in Skagway, that was beautiful. I would go again! Glacier Bay was beautiful, so peaceful and relaxing, we did see a portion of the glacier break but did not get pictures. The Lumber Jack Show in Ketchikan was really cute and fun, great for the family! We did the Pedi-Cab ride in Victoria, BC, I recommend seeing the city this way. The stop in Victoria is short and Pedi-Cab makes it to where you see the whole city in 2 1/2 hours. So you still have time to shop if you want. Overall the best vacation we have taken in years. We are looking forward to our next cruise, I really want to got to New England & Canada cruise. Read Less

We where searching for a cruise line that we would enjoy the ship, destinations, food and the overall feel of the experience.the staff was very friendly. The ultimate ship tour and the chefs table where great add ons to the trip to alaska. The staff in share, crown grill, and the salty dog gastro pub. Made for so wonderful nights. Alaska took our breathe away from the morning we approached juneau till we departed ketchikan. The shore excursions we took where great. We will be returning. Ruby princess was a great ship for being at full capacity it did not feel crowded. We where on deck 15 forward. The cabin was nice and quite during the night and mornings. The view from the other decks made evening walks a joy. The dining anytime option made for fun and interesting dining groups. The photo package we purchased worked out very well for us. This was a cruise we will smile about when we remember this lovely trip. Read Less

Because we wanted to see Alaska and it was our first cruise and it was our 40th anniversary and we wanted to go on a cruise. The food was excellent and the waiters was really nice. Everything on the Ruby Princess was great, you had, movie nights and theater and dances. You 4 different swimmingft pools and hot tubs and you had great coffee. We thought Alaska cruise would be fun because, everyone says it is a really great cruise to go on and you had a lot to do at each port. We couldn't fit everything in 1 cruise, so we plan on making 3 to 4 more cruises and maybe we will see everything that we wanted to see. If you have never been on a cruise, I suggest the Alaska cruise because it is so beautiful up there and the wife love it. Thank you for everything that the Ruby Princess did for us and the crew members took great care of us. Read Less

I am looking forward to cruising with Princess again in the future. As first time cruisers, my husband and I were simply amazed at the wonderful experince we had on Princess. We were really impressed about the type of people in the ship. It was a crowd filled with older people and responsible young adults with children. We felt completely safe in the boat. There were no drunk people misbehaving in the boat. Safety was a big concern to us and our agent recommended Princess Ruby for that reason and we were not disappointed. The disembarkation procedure was perfectly carried out. Everyone selected a desired time to disembark from a given choice. The process was very orderly and extremely safe. The Ports and Shore excursions disembarkation procedure were orderly organized. The ship and cabin were extremely clean and the cleaning crew were constantly at work everywhere. Saving the best for last, the dinning experience was beyond amazing! There was so much variety. The food was excellent and so was the dinning crew. They served great food and waited on you as royalty. The specialty dinning available in the ship lived up to the reputation of being special. The food and service were also great. Next, time, I plan to skip the specialty dinning because the food Ruby Princess serves in the dinning room is equally great1 They served lobster tail and crab legs in the regular dinning rooms. I cannot say enough good things about the ship and crew. The ship entertainment could be better though. They need more variety and a better representation of different races. Read Less

For our 50th anniversary, we took a 12-day Princess cruise to Alaska originating in Los Angeles. From the moment we stepped aboard the 5-star Ruby Princess, we were surrounded by helpful, smiling faces of staff. Our balcony room gave us a wonderful view and fresh air throughout our cruise. The bed was SO comfortable with cozy Egyptian linens. Our cabin Steward, Christopher, was so helpful and attentive. The ship holds about 3500 guests and about 1500 very service oriented staff- which is a nice size and ratio. The restaurant meals were fresh and fabulous with very attentive waiters. There were fresh food options 24- hours a day! We enjoyed the flexibility of "anytime" dining. The entertainment was nonstop. We especially enjoyed the nightly musical shows in the Princess Theater. They have very talented performers- bands, singers and dancers. The different lounges also had good entertainment and often dancing. The casino is spacious and has lots of variety, including blackjack tournaments which are really fun! The gym provides nice machines with an amazing view! We especially enjoyed the tram excursion in Juneau and the train in Scagway. We plan to fly to Anchorage on our next Alaskan trip to explore the more northern regions and to do a land tour to Denali. We highly recommend Princess cruises without reservation! We look forward to our next Princess cruise!! The 12 days flew by!! Read Less

My husband has cruised on Princess once before (about 12 years ago) and he really wanted to go with them again. I wanted to be able to drive to the departure port so we chose a 7-day California Coastal, round trip from LA. It was just the two of us ages 45 and 46. Left the kids at home since they don't appreciate cruising (which is fine with me as it's much cheaper that way!). After reading many reviews on the aft balconies, I chose cabin B754 which we loved. We did get some movement when we were out at sea but we found it soothing. I chose Baja deck so we would be neither above or below any public areas and it was nice and quiet. Sometimes we did hear "ship sounds" but nothing that was ever a problem. The cabin was adequate and the balcony was larger than I expected, which was a nice surprise. It had two chairs and a small table. We didn't use it for dining or anything- just sat in the chairs (or more frequently, stood at the railing) and enjoyed the ocean. The shower is miniscule! I understand this is the norm on Princess. We were scheduled to visit San Francisco, Monterey, San Diego, and Ensenada. Unfortunately, we were unable to visit Monterey because the seas were a bit too rough, making tendering unsafe. Too bad able that as that was the port I was most interested in. We left Monterey that morning, spent the night and part of the next morning at Sea, and docked in San Diego half a day early (noon) so we actually overnighted in SD. Overall I loved the ship and the decor (classy- the Piazza I thought was beautiful) although the constant art displays that took up all of Explorer's Lounge on several occasions was a bit much. Does anyone buy art on a cruise? I guess they must or the ships wouldn't keep devoting that much time and space and effort to it. Buffet food was not very flavorful IMO but we very much enjoyed the MDR three nights and chose to try Crown Grill and SHARE on two other nights. Overall very good. SHARE is a more adventurous menu and I loved the decor but it's high up aft and there was a constant vibration and an intermittent high pitched rattle/squeak in the ceiling that really detracted from the experience. Hope they get it fixed soon. Didn't care for the Main Offenders band or the Magic to Do production show but AJ Jamal (guest comedian) was pretty good... especially his bit about the showers on board! All staff with the exception of the young lady in the soft serve ice cream area were friendly. All in all, we were very pleased and we are already looking at another Princess cruise, hopefully to Hawaii this time. Read Less

We went with the Club Class upgrade this time and really enjoyed the perks that came with the upgrade. The dining and staff were outstanding. Our room steward was excellent and made the on-board experience a memorable one. He always would greet you with a warm and pleasant smile. Stayed on-board at Mazatlan and had a great spa day. They say there is a first time for most things and yes this was my first spa day. Let me just say it was worth every penny. I felt so good I even bought the wife some product for us. My brother & his wife are avid cruisers & invited us along. I never thought I would enjoy a cruise so the first time he asked us to join them for a 2018 cruise I turned him down. My sister & Mom went on that cruise with them & my sister came back with such great stories of her experiences I immediately signed hubby & I up for this cruise. Embarkation & disembarkation went smooth & fast. I had heard Princess has these down to a science & though I had no previous cruise experience to draw from I have to say it went very smoothly. There was plenty of activities to choose from onboard the Ruby Princess. I dare say if you can’t find something you’d like to do on a Princess Cruise you’re probably a grump who doesn’t like anything anyway. The dining was excellent we tried the Crown Grill & Curtis Stone for specialty dining, both were as described by Princess. All of our other dinners were in the Michelangelo dining room & were excellent as well. Our Head waiter was amazing, José Fernandez, my sister-n-law has a lot of food allergies & he made sure she got what she needed each & every night. José even worked with one of the chefs to create a bread for her that was palatable. No easy trick since she is allergic to yeast, dairy, eggs & sugar. They could only use the ingredients they had on hand after all, there was no running to the store. Our last morning on the ship before disembarking José met us in the buffet as we ate breakfast & brought her 2 slices of the bread they had created that she liked to go with her breakfast. All staff we encountered were great - it takes a special kind of person to do a job like that. You work very hard & have to be able to keep the smile on your face even when people are unreasonable. Most every passenger we interacted with was polite, decent & reasonable. I felt somewhat like I was living in a shopping mall with a bunch of other Canadians for a week : D We ate at the buffet for every breakfast & most lunches & enjoyed the selection it offered. The cruise director, (Natalie from Australia) & her assistant cruise director Yessy from Peru were stand outs for me also. I bumped into Yessy a lot doing trivia, karaoke & then working with her in the Princess Pop Choir & I absolutely loved her. If she’s not a Cruise director soon instead of an assistant I’d be surprised. She has unparalleled energy & just the right amount of excess personality required for the job. All three of my favorites were in higher profile positions but I would like to say that ALL OF THE STAFF on the Ruby Princess were exceptional. We’re already booked in on another Princess cruise to the Caribbean next year, hoping to take our kids & grandkids with us on that one. I came back new! Between the two of us we did 4 different excursions booked through Princess, all were excellent & as described. Read Less

Outstanding Cruise on the Ruby Princess. Great service from the cabin steward to the head waiter, all outstanding. We had a great room location - L309 - this was an ideal location for accessing the Lotus Spa, the Sanctuary and adults only pool, and the stairs to access the piazza and dining. We loved the enrichment programs such as the cooking demonstration and galley tour. The banter between the Head Chef and Maitre De was hysterical. We really enjoyed the shore excursions - we took in Whale watching in which we got a lot of great photos of humpback whales, seals, and dolphins and an old town city tour of Puerta Viarta. It included Tequila tasting at an organic farm and distillery, a lunch at El Set that had great food and spectacular views. The weather was perfect and the ship was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The food was fantastic and the staff was extremely accommodating to Julia's dietary restrictions. We usually sail on Carnival, however, I'm glad we booked the Ruby Princess for our 7-day Mexico cruise. We were platinum and were upgraded to a junior suite. Our room steward was excellent, he parked his cart across from our stateroom so we received excellent service. Carnival could get a lesson in ship design, Ruby does not put a band next to guest services. The horizon buffet food was excellent, very diversified. The main dining room food was very good with spacious tables. The pools were heated, unlike Carnival's cold water. The music was top notch, the mariachi band was good, and the best piano player I ever heard and I was in the business for 18 years. Anyone who complains about this ship should stay home. It is a ship and not a boat. Calling this ship a boat is like calling Mount Everest a hill. Written by: Captian Glen Read Less

There are many nice improvements to the interior of the cabins as well as new carpet and updated open areas. The dining room menus are new and there are lots more choices available. You can even order food from the Crown Grill at an extra price if desired. The theater is large with two levels and seemed to be a perfect size. The shows were well done with the dancers and singers and they had a comedian and magician. The music in the lounges was really good. Mariachi band, pianist, singer with a dance band, a duo and a DJ. The shows were spectacular-from the dancers and singer to the comedian and Magician. Amazing employees that act like they really like their jobs. The food was excellent in the dining room. We never felt rushed. There are spots all over the ship that you can be alone outside your cabin. We love the grill topside. We run thru the buffet at lunch a load up greens; then have them grill a chicken breast for on top (resisting the fries of course). International cafe was a little crowded this cruise ( I think it was because of their new coffee card system). There seemed to be a line often and I don’t do lines! Love love love this ship. It was a great deal and affordable for ys to bring our daughter and new son-in-law on their first cruise. We attended many of the onboard activities including Once Upon A Dream. What a fantastic production. The crab legs at the original Tracy’s Crab Shack were incredible and Joshua loves Tracy, loves working at the crab shack and was very attentive to us! What a joy to meet someone who thoroughly enjoys his job! Made our Juneau stop totally worth the wait as we had to postpone the port stop due to high winds and rough currents. The captain was calm and explained that issue in detail to keep all the staff and passengers in the loop. We were lucky enough to attend the chefs dinner and were treated like royalty by all the staff but especially by the chef and maitre’d. The food was delicious and the details of each dish made me want to go home and try the recipes myself! The next day we received additional treats delivered to our stateroom from the maitre’d as a thank you for attending the dinner. It was us who should be doing the thanking! It was an excellent experience that just can’t be repeated! Our cabin steward, Leo, took great care of us ensuring our room was impeccably clean, stocked with everything we required and requested. We met him right after we boarded and he worked hard to assist us in having a fantastic voyage. We were able to board very quickly and actually got to our stateroom well ahead of the actual “all ready” alert. Leo was there waiting to greet us with that beautiful smile and a sincere welcome! My wife and I have always wanted to go on an Alaskan Cruise and we spend months pouring over reviews and options for different cruise lines. After all of that, Princess seemed to be the obvious choice given the positive reviews and large number of accommodations. So, my wife and I booked it in celebration for our 25th wedding anniversary and were not at all disappointed. We felt as though we were treated as a king and queen from the fine dinning every evening, to quick food and snacks throughout the day to the steward caring for our cabin throughout the day. If we stopped by our cabin to use the freshen up, the next time we returned it had been tidied up! The productions are of Broadway quality and the other entertainment was well organized and well run. I wanted to see Alaska but I'm not a big fan of cold weather. I chose Princess because I'd heard they were the best for Alaska cruise. I'd never cruised on Princess before. I was NOT disappointed. From embarkation till debarkation, everything was much more than I expected! We traveled this time with a group of 14 (10 of which I had not met before). We did travel Club Class and this was a first. Club Class Dining and priority boarding and deboarding made it well worth it. We had a Jr. Suite and the bathroom was bigger than I'd ever seen on a cruise ship. The extra seating area and larger balcony were great perks. I'd highly suggest having a balcony - you see some of the most majestic sights right from your own balcony. We saw humpback whales, orcas, bear, otters, seals and eagles right from our balcony. The day spent in Glacier Bay alone made the cruise worth it. We saw the magnificent glaciers, went through floating ice to get in to the Bay and were lucky enough to see pieces of ice break off (called calving). They spent plenty of time right in front of the glacier and then turned the boat around for the other side of the ship to have the same view. We chose a seaplane excursion (don't miss this one - went to Taku Lodge, landed for lunch and a hike and back to the port) , an ATV excursion and a fishing excursion for our 3 Alaskan ports. They were perfect! A few of our friends did the helicopter excursion and actually walked on a glacier - looked spectacular too! The ports - Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan were breathtaking by themselves. We did not have enough time in Ketchikan and I hope to go back one day to explore further. We didn't get off the ship in Victoria simply because it was the last night, we were tired and it seemed like a lot of trouble to deal with our passports to get on and off the ship. The service on board was impeccable. We did one thing we've never done on a cruise ship - we arranged for a Chef's Table dinner. At $95 per person this is the single most incredible thing I've done ON a cruise ship! The Maitre'D and Chef served us unlimited champagne and 3 appetizers IN the kitchen before seating us in the center of the dining room and serving us white and red wine and a fabulous 4 course dinner. At the end we were each given a picture of our group, a picture of our couple with the chef and the signature cookbook. We were all blown away by the entire evening. They had never done a group our size and it was quite an endeavor. I'll do this again - whether it is just my husband and me or a group. Just spectacular! All the entertainment we participated in was fun - comedian, magic, stage show, Voice of the Ocean, bingo and trivia. We fit in as much as we could and could not make it to everything available. We opted not to do spa treatments but many in our group did and loved them. The spa itself was beautiful. The Ruby Princess was a very well appointed ship and quite beautiful. I never felt crowded on board and the service was never slow or compromised at all. Room service was better than I'd ever experienced on other lines too. The beds are exactly as comfortable as they advertise - the Princess bed. So although I wasn't overly enthusiastic about going, I can not WAIT to go back! In one word - SPECTACULAR! Read Less

Let me start by saying Princess is not a party boat. My wife and I just turned 30 and love Princess for this reason. If you're looking for spring break and a liquor waterfall being poured into your mouth by a dancing bear you should find another cruise haha. You can definitely have a blast and drink and be crazy but the Princess experience is definitely not built around this concept. Alaska is for nature lovers: This really is the last frontier. It's incredible, from the endless view of mountains torn through by the neon blue glaciers, to the real wildlife surrounding you. By real wildlife, I mean not in a petting zoo, free of charge, raw wildlife. We saw a bear on our nature walk, we saw whales while eating breakfast on the ship, sea lions fighting for salmon in Ketchikan, glacial ice falling into the ocean. We take nature for granted because we can watch it on Facebook and TV whenever we want. Seeing the real thing is priceless and truly unmatched. Go on this adventure. Weather: Do your research. just because it's Alaska doesn't mean its the frozen tundra. Know what the weather is averaging around the time you want to depart. The inside passage is where we cruised through ( Seattle> Juneau> Skagway> Glacier Bay> Ketchikan> Victoria, BC) and we stayed on top of the weather until the day before we cruised. Bring a light wind/rainproof jacket. This area is a rainforest, the second largest in the world! For August time, bring lots of light layers and a waterproof backpack. We were glad to be able to strip down into t-shirts during the hikes and throw them into a backpack for later. Overall I found the adverse weather nice and enjoyed how the fog and clouds complimented the scenery. Cruise experience: We chose to get a balcony at the risk of my motion sickness. It was well worth it. The gentle... Sometimes strong breeze was nice when I felt a little off and the view will help you forget about everything else. The staff is highly attentive, very knowledgeable, and generally appear to be enjoying themselves. I have friends who work on cruise ships and have spoken of the long hours so I have more appreciation for the fantastic customer service we were given. The food is AMAZING. I can't imagine anyone besides a Micheline star chef having any complaints about this cuisine. If you enjoy the casino they have all of the expected games and slots you would hope for. I don't gamble so I don know much more other than you are allowed to smoke while actively playing there. All in all I would highly recommend this trip. If you absolutely hate rainy cold weather or are trying to get away from it maybe look at another cruise. Read Less

My wife and I chose to cruise with Princess Cruise Lines after talking with others about different cruise lines and we are both very pleased with our first experience. The Logistics of the Princess line is unbelievable as to ensuring 3000 guests are taken care of and no major issues necessary to deal with. at the various ports we went on excursions and back to the ship without issues, time, location, guides that were very informative and knowledgeable. All this was received on a very positive note. The entire staff of the Ruby Princess was in my opinion top notch, The customer service, energy, care and concern for their passengers was never ending. The entire cruise was a great success. The only thing I would have liked to have done was tour the ship the entire ship IE the engine room, control deck, etc. but that is me. I would have enjoyed seeing the engines that move such a vessel through the waters to Alaska. I for one will promote the Princess Line to family and friends. Thank You for a Cruise well done. We ate one meal at the crown grill and it was a fine dining experience. A special treat was brought to celebrate our anniversary and we were honored with a song. There was so much good it would be hard to choose another cruise line the next time. I purchased the coffee card and found it to be worth it. There were a lot of activities on board- lots of audience participatory games- loved the trivia. Some the of the games tried to make it funnier by being off color- I don’t like that kind of humor (seemed high schoolish) and there were families on board - games would be just as fun without asking someone to act out a “condom” in Pictionary- that would be my criticism (makes a beautiful ship seem trashy) loved the comedian, the voice, and Iditarod speaker. I do want to say Ronnie and Joanne at Explorers Lounge, Oliver in the Salty Dog, Dragan in the steakhouse and Lorentz in the photo area all made the trip more memorable. They each should be commended on making us feel like family!! Recommend any Princess cruise to those looking for a family fun time. The excursions in each one of the stops was excellent and Princess picked the right groups to work with. We did fishing on the Rum Runner in Juneau and went whale watching as well. Ask for Captain Chris!! He knows where all the fish are and we pulled a ton in. In Skagway we did the mountain climbing and rappelling. Brady was our guide and this young man made the family feel welcome and showed us we could do anything we put our mind to. In Ketchikan, we did the zipline tour. It was spooky but we became experts with the help of our guides. It was a great time at all locations. Of course the time in Glacier Bay was outstanding. The narrative from the park rangers made the experience even better. Recommend all these excursions to add to a wonderful time with Princess Cruises. Read Less

Every need and wish was met on this cruise. The entertainment and production crew were first rate. Our stateroom steward was friendly, helpful and cleaned the room twice a day. The excursions booked through Princess cruise were better executed than those booked locally and in most cases cheaper. This cruise was taken to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary in which Princess went beyond my expectations in making this the best anniversary celebration ever. The food was average but the service was excellent. The variety of on ship activities was great, if you are bored it was your own fault. The Princess crew also respected our privacy and altered room service when needed. Our cruise director was friendly, informative and projected an cheerful and approachable attitude. Kassi made us feel welcomed and went the extra mile to answer our questions. This was our first cruise with Princess cruise lines but it will not be our last Read Less

Ruby Princess, May 2018, L311 ** For the BIG people ** I am 6'3, 350+ pounds with limited walking ability, and I chose to cruise Alaska. If you’re bigger, here is what you need to know. The cruising industry seems to follow the airline standard of 'size'. Nearly every chair on board (except near pools) had hard armrest and was 18” to 19” wide. If you don’t fit into an airplane seat, you need to make note of options (below). Dining Room - the staff was great at making arrangements. I simply asked for a chair with no arms and they would make it work. I found that after the first day, they just recognized me and made it happen. Either a small table out of the way or getting the right chair to a table of random "happy" folks. I also would note that during peak dining times, the temperature became very warm very fast. Like the A/C was unable to handle the crowds very well. If your warm blooded, avoid peak hours (or bring a small portable fan like me). The lounges have various benches or booths and I could fit somewhat into the lounge chairs, it was just tight and uncomfortable. If you are seeing a 'show' in explorers or any lounge, arrive early and find a bench. Princess Theater. Arrive early and head to Princess theater from level 6, the seats near the stage. On each end of each row is a seat that has a lifting armrest. These go fast. Be prepared to stand to let people in, but I'm not sure I could have watched a show without those seats. Princess theater is hard armrest and airline width. Walking. Expect to walk a max of 1 football field to get from one place to another on ship and 1-3 fields to get on/off the boat. Most Alaska Ports have bus pickup very near the gangway, Victoria was 2-3 ship lengths. Also, expect lines getting on/off especially right after arriving at port. There are also short lines for dining during peak hours, but they move fast. If you can not stand for very long, bring a portable stool. ... and yes, the shower was small. Very small. Bring a shower brush, but if I can do it, anyone can. It’s just … small. ** End of Big People.** First Timers! Shows are not repeated, tomorrow is always something different. Go see the shows. The Magician was good (and funny), the comedian (Steve Caouette) was fantastic (both times we saw him). The cute little game shows they do are also a lot of fun. Do not sit in your room, you can rest after vacation is over. They have a buffet, and you would be well served to never visit it. Not that it was bad, it was quite good the two times we ate breakfast there, but the dining room is awesome! Great service, great food. Eat in the dining room at least 2x per day. Youtube or cruise critic before you cruise. They have dozens of great ideas that were helpful before I set sail. Use ONENOTE or something similar to download deck plans to your phone, it's nice to know where your headed before you get up and wander aimlessly. If you book a balcony, try for Port side. Margorie Glacier is on port first and longest, when they turned around, it was only partially on Starboard. Also, all the Ports are on Port side. Better views of the ports. Read Less

The staff is excellent, the mini suite was clean well organized and I had enough space for personal items and clothing. The food was good, not excellent but good (buffet) at the restaurants the food is pretty good. The entertainment was great always something to do or see. The only negative thing that I might have to say is that the elevators take a very long time to arrive but there is also the stairs lol, (great leg work out). You do have to be patient when disembarking it doesn’t take long but there are people very impatient and can make it annoying. In general I had a great experienced with this cruise I do recommended it, also if you are doing excursions I recommend using princess cruise excursions because when you disembark there is somebody waiting for you as soon as you are off the ship with signs, if you use somebody else you might have a hard time finding the meeting place ( I had this bad experience but It work out at the end). There where not many children on the ship for those of you that like quiet time. Read Less
