Great cruise ship and crew

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Ruby Princess

We cruised from Ft. Lauderdale to Panama Canal and back to Ft. Lauderdale. The embarkation was very easy and smooth. No complaints about that. We had stops in Montego Bay, Cartagena, Limon and Grand Cayman. We could have skipped Montego Bay and Cartagena. The guide on the excursion in Montego Bay just spoke about the poverty on the island. Not what we were looking for. Cartagena excursion ...

Our First Cruise

We chose to sail out of Galveston to save air fare because we live in Texas and just drove in the day before. The time was perfect and the price was within our financial means. This was an 80's themed cruise which some people went all out, the theme to me was neither good nor bad though I did get tired of Cyndi Lauper. I watched a lot of You Tube video and prepared myself as best I could. The ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Ruby Princess

This was our first cruise and to be honest I was biased because I remember watching the show The Love Boat as a kid. The show made me want to try cruising and experience this sense of royalty and comfort. The real life experience was all I could hope for. The staff from every aspect was so friendly, welcoming and offered their services all the time. I didn’t even have to get my own drinks while ...

I just got off a 7 day Caribbean cruise on the Ruby Princess out of Galveston. My adult son and I had an absolutely wonderful time. It was our first time on Princess. I bid on an upgrade from a Club Class Mini Suite to a Premium Suite and was upgraded to a Penthouse! You can imagine how thrilled we were. Embarkation was seamless. We were in our cabin by 1:00 p.m. The ship is so beautiful ...

It's been a long cold winter and I needed a warm getaway. The Ruby Princess had just started sailing from Galveston to the western caribbean, they were offering great rates and OBC, so I jumped on it. This was my 10th cruise and 2nd cruise on Princess in the last 2 months. I traveled solo in a balcony cabin on Baja deck 11 forward. I flew into Houston Hobby a day prior and spent the night at ...

We had a great time. Almost everything was exceptional: the food, the service, the entertainment, the ships facilities. This was the first cruise that we splurged on a room with a balcony -- and it was fabulous. We lett the doors open at night and enjoyed the sounds of the waves. The balcony certainly helped make the room feel larger! We had exceptional service in the dining room and ...

Virgin TeleMermaid

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Ruby Princess

It's nice to be a virgin at 69, and this Caribbean cruise did it for me. It met my criteria beautifully:1) few children, 2) almost no lines, 3) 24/7 really fast room service, and 4) leisurely linen service dining with dishes I had no intention of preparing ever. As an added bonus, boarding from Galveston with the Medallion meant less than 15 minutes from being dropped off to sitting comfortably ...

We were two adults in our 50s with our two adult children in their 20s. We had two interior cabins on different decks. Really nice trip. Embarkation was smooth. Get your medallion ahead of time; it saves you a lot of time at check in. The ship is classy and clean. The rooms are standard cruise cabins and have all you need. All Princess employees were pleasant and willing to help with any ...

We chose this cruise for the ports. Antigua, St Lucia, Barbados, St Kitts,St Thomas and Nassau From the beginning embarkation was quick and easy The staff was outstanding. The service incredible and the food was excellent. Great menu choices every night. However, our cabin steward was lacking in removing dirty glasses and not leaving chocolates every night. Great happy hour every day ...
