Stateroom Number: B748 Type: Premium Balcony Category: B4 Location: Aft Deck: 11 (Baja) Bath Type: Shower Connecting Room: N/A Total Size: 268 sq. ft. This was a larger balcony at the back of the ship on the left side. An excellent room only sharing one wall with another cabin. The cabin itself is just like any other but the balcony is deeper than others and you can see out the back and partially off the side of the ship. Totally worth the extra money!!! Read Less

Balcony bigger than I expected (not sure if all aft balconies are like this as I have no frame of reference. Tiny shower. The bed and pillows were comfortable to us. Did I mention the tiny shower?

One of the things we wanted to try was an aft-facing cabin. I loved it, my wife was just OK with it. You definitely notice more movement at the rear of the ship, and while we didn't notice any more "engine" noise than mid-ship cabins, when you are on the balcony, it is quite noisy from the wake (it sounds like a waterfall - which I like, my wife not so much). The cabin itself was a typical balcony cabin with a smallish bathroom and shower, but plenty of storage space for clothes and things. The new large screen TV was nice and easy to use to access all the on-demand content, the only issue is the mirror behind the bed (directly across from the TV) would reflect the TV image back onto the screen. It's not terrible, but it can be a bit distracting depending on what you are watching. This was also the first time I didn't have to get an extension cord for my CPAP - it reached the plugin on the desk easily. Rudy, our cabin steward, was helpful and took care of everything as we have come to expect with all cabin stewards. The rooms also had the new touch entry screens that you touch (or hold close to) your keycard against to unlock the door. Not sure where Princess is going with the whole Medallion thing, but this seems to be either an interim step or backup plan. Read Less

I kept hearing about how small cruise ship cabins are but when I walked in I was pleasantly surprised. I thought the cabin size was more than adequate with plenty of drawers, cupboards & closet space with about 20 hangers for our use. We also had plenty of room in the closet to stow our luggage out of the way & still tons of space for shoes. The balcony was a good size & you could sit out there & even stretch out on the lounger comfortably. Yes, the bathroom is not large but there was corner shelving for your toiletries & a large shelf running along under the sink where you could store other items, eg. pads, tampons, diapers, baby wipes etc. The safe was easy to use & a reasonable size as long as you weren’t trying to stash the Crown Jewels. The bed was the most comfortable hotel type bed I have ever slept in & I’m picky about my bed due to chronic back pain. There was the refrigerator, desk, chair, at least 3 different mirrors & a good size cupboard on right side of desk. Above the refrigerator was a large corner cabinet built over it with plenty of more space. Keep your expectations reasonable & you should be happy. You are on a ship & space is at a premium. I would say it’s about half the size of the average hotel room but the way it’s laid out & with the storage provided they make excellent/efficient use of the smaller space. Read Less

Beautiful wrap balcony but smaller that cabins on other lines. Shower in the bathroom is TINY..and I am a pretty small person. Location near Terrace pool and bar is great, but its a long walk to a lot of things.
