HIT: For us, the mini-suite is one of our favorite Princess features. It is the perfect size for a couple, and we love the balcony. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is a good size with a shower/tub combo and ample counter space. There are two decent TVs, but the selection of shows is spotty, at best. We enjoyed watching several “Love Boat” episodes, as we grew up during the 1970s. There is plenty of room for storage. Our cabin steward, Catherine, was among the best we have ever had. She efficiently refreshed our cabin when we went out for breakfast in the morning, and then again when we left for a drink in the evening. We are not particularly “needy” with requests, but for the few minor items that we did request (extra towels for the balcony chairs, extra blankets because it was rather cold for the first two days of the cruise, wine glasses, etc.), they were brought to us promptly. Only liquid shower gel is available in the bathroom. Fortunately, we had brought our own bar soap because that is what we prefer. Read Less

Old Ship with worn out/damaged furniture in stateroom. Cushions on couch were completely worn out and did not have any "cushion support" remaining. Cushions sit directly on the metal parts of the fold out bed and were very uncomfortable. Second suite chair had split and tear in the leather right in the front of the chair. Suite was stuffy and warm. Steward did have ship maintenance respond to check out the AC system and left a note stating they fixed it but I'm not sure they did very much. It wasn't until we reached the Alaska passage area for the room to cool down as the outside temperatures dropped into the 50's. Read Less

we loved out mini suite cabin. it was larger than we expected. Our room steward Ricky greeted us on day one and made sure our room was made in the mornings before we came back from breakfast and covers turned down every night before bed. we loved the added touch of chocolates on our pillows. we always had fresh ice in the fridge and plenty of clean towels and toiletries. we couldn't have asked for more. The very last cabin on the Starboard side of the ship, it had an extra-large (roughly twice as long as normal) covered balcony that allowed us to look out to the side AND aft towards the wake. The cabin itself was a standard mini-suite with ample storage and very comfortable bed. It was quiet; we never heard any noise from above or below. The only slight negative was that the sofa looked like it had really seen better days and felt worn-out when we sat on it (really needs to be replaced). Read Less
