Just off the Coral in December, we cruised the Caribbean on the Royal in January.
Overall it was another nice cruise. As always the staff is very friendly and pleasant. We’ve never had a problem with staff in the six cruises we’ve done.
We’ve been on the Royal previously as well as the Regal. The Royal is starting to show some wear now. The hull areas are showing rust and can tell the ...
Embarkation went very smoothly. For the first time, we were assigned a time to come by floor. Our time was 2:30 pm. Rather late, but it worked for us and made embarkation very quick. Princess provides a nice experience with a few exceptions. This was our first time on the class of ship that includes the Royal. Larger and newer than the Crown or Emerald. We expected more from entertainment ...
We started out our cruise by arriving a day early. We rented a car and stayed at the Pembroke Pines Hampton Inn. Nice hotel. Quiet. Renting a car gave us the opportunity to see the area and do some shopping. We went to the port early. We took a cab from the car rental station. Because we were in a premium suite we were seated in the Elite lounge after a quick check in. There is nothing special ...
My vacation was a good with Royal Princess.
The staff and waiter were friendly and co-operative. I enjoyed food and our waiter- ZORAN was outstanding. I am vegetarian and he always comes up with some food suggestion and he is excellent with his food taste.
The room service was nice and cabin was perfectly fine and organised for your perfect vacation.
The shore excursion with Princess ...
Wonderful ship and crew... all the amenities without the amusement park. The ships staff and services was a bit overwhelmed the second week which was Christmas but they still tried very hard to accommodate 500 more people than the normal sailing. Entertainment was great and I highly recommend Kori Simon in the Piano bar and Barbi McCulloch and the ships entertainers in the show ENCORE! The ...
I chose this cruise as it was a great price for a mini suite and many sea days. I was looking forward to cruising on the aroysl as it was a newer ship. But it doesn’t have the new Medallion system. Internet is old style as well as door entry. Horizon Buffets were larger than other ships but meal choices were just so so. The Crown had a smaller Buffett but much better choices. The worst part ...
Our Nephews picked out this cruise. We have done this itinerary before. 4 port days on a 7 day cruise is just 1 too many. Didn't leave that extra sea day for relaxing and I really missed that.
Our cruise started out just fine, walking straight onto the ship, wow no lines, it is really nice to miss the rush of the airport shuttles.
Our cabin was in a perfect location on the Emerald deck ...
OVERVIEW
Our 7-day cruise took us to Grand Cayman & Roatan, Honduras, as well as Belize and Cozumel. This was a “bucket list” cruise for me and my wife because we had always wanted to see the Mayan Ruins in Central America. We saw incredible Mayan Ruins in Belize and Mexico.
The Royal Princess was the largest Princess ship we have sailed on. Also the largest ever. While a large ship, our ...
Before I get to the one big problem on this ship, and it is one that is easily fixable, I’ll start with the good stuff, because there are a lot of positive things to say about Royal Princess.
This was our seventh cruise on Princess, and fifteenth overall. I can honestly say this was the best restaurant experience we’ve ever had. The food was terrific, meals never rushed, everything hot. ...
We choose this cruise because it fit our timing with trying to get several family members together. We have previously cruised with Royal Caribbean. Embarkation at Port Everglades was fast and smooth. Disembarkation was not. Lines were long. The Royal Princess is a smaller ship that the RCL Navigator of Seas so it did feel like we could get around the ship easily. It seemed to us that the cruisers ...
