Ports of call interesting. We havd never been to these countries on the Pacific side of South America.. Going this tome of year we expected, and received waem weather. Having sailed with Princess several times, with very positive results, we picked this itinerary. Being familiar with the Royal Princess, having sailed with her before, and having been told that she was refitted with new ...
We did this cruise before, we had a great time so we decided to do it again as there were some different ports. We ate in the Allegro dining room with Victoria and I Made as our servers. They were wonderful.
Our Room steward was Edward A737 I can not say enough about him he was fantastic. If we needed anything, we just needed to ask him. Thanks for getting our TV fixed, also for all the tissues ...

We flew from LA to Buenos Aires 12 hours direct, arriving at airport 7:20 am, tired and long line at immigration (1.5 hours),
Anticipating check-in around 11 am, lunch at noon, nap right after; but it did not turn out that way
Embarkation: Major delay by Princess arriving after 2 pm, check-in 5:30 pm. Main reason: few passengers without proper documents having issues with Argentina ...
We chose this 30 day cruise to see South and Central America. We embarked in Buenos Aires, sailed around South America, up the west coast to Los Angeles. We visited 7 countries in all. Embarkation was delayed 5 hours so the cruise did not start out well. We then skipped our first port visit in Argentina due to high winds. The rest of the cruise happened as planned.
The ship was nice and ...
This was my 48th cruise and 19th on Princess, Buenos Aires to San Antonio.
We flew from Phoenix via Atlanta to Buenos Aires and stayed 2 nights precruise at the Hilton. We toured the city and it was very hot and the traffic was awful. We relied on taxis which were very reasonable. The day of embarkation we received an email stating the ship would be delayed and not to show up before 4pm at the ...
We chose to do the 19 day cruise from Fort Lauderdale to Buenos Aires because of the variety of ports - 4 in the Caribbean and 5 in South America. The ship was continuing on after Buenos Aires for another 14 days to Santiago Chile and then to Los Angeles. The bulk of the passengers were travelling the full 49 days from Fort Lauderdale to LA. More than 2/3 of the ship were Princess Elite ...
This was the newest Princess ship we have been on to date. It is also somewhat bigger so there is plenty to do and enough places to go, although the library was like "Old Mother Hubbard's Cupboard", so if you are a reader bring your own reading material.
We had a balcony cabin on the Aloha deck toward the rear of the ship. Comfortable and quiet. Easy access to the rear elevator to access the ...

- inclusions such as two extensive tours (Montevideo and Rio de Janeiro) incl. spectacular lunch and wine; flights YVR to Ft Lauderdale and from Santiago back to YVR, ship gratuities, ship board credits; free ...
The breadth of ports was very attractive, from Fort Lauderdale to Los Angeles, the long way. It enabled visiting places that one might not see otherwise. Prices for cabins with an "obstructed view" were excellent & the view was still quite good. Dining & entertainment were terrific! Condition of cabin was very fine.
A couple of excursions were horrible and many very over-priced. ...
