We were on the Royal Princess
"I also prefer Traditional Dining because we like the same wait staff each night and even though we booked the same table on the first night, they did not honour our reservation for any night after.Other people were able to book their same table each night but they did not allow us to book after the first night...."Read More

Review for Royal Princess to Alaska

We chose this cruise because of all the ports, Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan, Icy Strait Point, Sitka & Glaciers, Hubbard, Glacier Bay, Dawes Glacier in Endicott Arm. Unfortunately there was too much ice to get to Dawes Glacier and the ship was too big for Hubbard. We originally booked on the Sapphire and were moved to the Royal. I am not likely to book a Royal or it's same class again. The balconies ...

For a full suite, we were not happy with the service, old carpet etc.

Review for Royal Princess to Mexican Riviera

Mothers 90th birthday, port is local/easy drive, like the ship overall, always enjoy the Riviera. We have sailed on the Royal 8 times and enjoy the ship. It's not as nice as the Emerald and such, as the layout of this ship is awkward. Having the open deck on 7, is quite enjoyable for most people.. They Royal forces you to stay inside, unless you go up to deck 16, which is often too windy/cold. ...

Princess Cruise Line Feb 6th 4 Night Cruise to Ensenada and Catalina from LA

Princess Cruise Line Feb 6th 4 Night Cruise to Ensenada and Catalina from Los Angeles San Pedro port on the Royal Princess. We are classically NCL cruisers. This was our first Princess Cruise and truth be told we received it for free from Caesars Casino. We got a balcony cabin A414 and added the drink package. We did no specialty dinning as we had just wanted to experience the base cruise. We ...

No Crew at the Meet & Mingle

Review for Royal Princess to Mexican Riviera

We had over 50 CC members sign up for our Meet & Mingle scheduled for our first sed day. I had prearranged the time and place with a Princess representative and kept her updated as our anticipated crowd grew over time, contacting her just days before departure to keep her ‘in the loop’. I requested for a few ‘key staff’ if available to answer any questions and to get better acquainted with each ...

Great cruise to Mexico on the Royal Princess

This was our 4th Princess cruise in the last 5 years. Three of those cruises were on the Royal and one on the Regal. The Royal is our favorite ship and she lived up to her reputation on this cruise. The cruise director, Marcus, was the best cruise director we have had in our 4 Princess cruises. The guest entertainers were fabulous, especially the comedian Carlos Oscar. We were disappointed in the ...

7 NIGHT Mexico CRUISE

Review for Royal Princess to Mexican Riviera

We wanted to do this itinerary and our regular cruise line wasn’t doing it at the time we wanted to go in January so our travel agent suggested Princess and said they were a good cruise line. They were definitely not up to the level of service or up to par on food experiences compared to other lines we have been on. It’s the first holiday I’ve returned from and didn’t gain any weight. We were ...

Overall we enjoyed the Royal Princess. The staff is excellent with the exception of our room steward who was just average. We returned to our cabin several times later in the day, and it had not been serviced. This also happened at evening turn down. The ship is beautiful and our suite well appointed, however it was very worn with stains on the carpet and couch. The bathroom was "very" ...

Did not exceed expectations

I chose this cruise as it was Mexican Rivera. The itinerary was changed to give us less time in Cabo which was annoying as we had booked a tour with Princess that was a drive away from the city. Tour was rushed and not enough time was given to explore Cabo. Not worth the money. The food was average. I will say there was better choice in the Buffet and the food tasted better than the dining ...

Best cruise ever!

Wife's birthday, 48th Anniversary. These new beds are outstanding. I have a Sleep Number bed at home; these beds are just as comfortable. The seas were FLAT the whole trip, and mostly over 70 deg F. The food choice was vast, and tasty, with short lines. We have been to the same ports many times, so we stayed onboard, mostly, to enjoy the food, and take naps. The new Medallion, which ...

“The Sanctuary” was a Cruise Saver

Review for Royal Princess to Mexican Riviera

The Sanctuary was a life saver for us. Pleasant, Restful and First Class ! The First Day Shore Excursion was a Disaster, after that first day Shore Excursion we stayed on the ship every day and were pampered in the Sanctuary. The stuff was amazing in every single way. Even after our disappointing excursion they refunded us 100% for that day plus let us out of the other two excursions, ...
