As mentioned above, the cabin was small but perfectly adequate for us. We liked having the aft view, but be aware that there is some soot that drifts down, so look at the chairs carefully before you sit down. We had occasional trouble getting the toilet to flush, but never had to call for a plumber (as we did on a previous non-Princess ship.) Next time I would bring my own shampoo and hair conditioner, since I found the shampoo-conditioner that was provided to be be very drying on my hair. Our cabin was beautifully cared for by Emmanuel, our steward. Emmanuel was very polite and very friendly, and we enjoyed the fact that he posed our "Teddy Bear" in cute ways with a towel elephant he created. Read Less

I had cabin B738. This is in the deluxe balcony category and is at the back of the ship overlooking the wake, which I love. It has one of the largest balconies available in this class and also had shade from the deck above. You could lie down flat in the lounge chairs. The balcony sizes vary quite a bit in this category and only decks B and D have shade from the decks above. Princess made the cabins on this ship a bit smaller than their prior ships and many passengers complained about the tiny balconies in the standard balcony cabins along the sides of the ship, where the chairs barely fit facing to the side and you could not lie down. I had no problem with cabin storage but it would be tighter with two people. The bathroom is very efficiently designed but quite small. Really no room for two to be in there together. The shower did have the "clingy" curtain, but because of the slight outward curve in the design I never had a problem with it clinging. Shampoo/conditioner combo and liquid soap are provided in the shower dispensers. There's a laundry line in the shower that I found handy. I liked the open design of the closet which really made it just like a walk-in but without a door. The bed was very comfortable and you get a bathrobe in this category. It was nice to have a small sofa instead of just a chair. The desk and frig were pretty standard. The flat screen TV on the wall was quite large and could be seen from either the bed or the sofa. A large variety of movies and videos were offered as well as the port talks, bridge cam and some ship activities. The cabin doors are narrow and very heavy, so exercise caution getting luggage or large bags through the door! Read Less

We had aft-facing R-734, a premium deluxe balcony. We loved the room and it's location. The balcony for this room is huge. It had two chairs that could recline flat, two footstools and a large table. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom & closets were very adequate. The mini-fridge kept drinks icy cold. The balcony is completely uncovered. We had some shade, but mostly sun. Privacy was a non-issue. Passengers in the cabin above could see our balcony, as could passengers on the Lido deck. Very seldom did I see anyone at those rails. Read Less

Aft Balcony. Cabin was fine, no problems. There was a minor amount of soot on occasion on our balcony, this was cleared quickly upon request. This cabin has a partially covered extra large balcony which we loved and took full advantage of, but being at the aft of the ship, as expected, we did experience slightly more "motion of the ocean" on occasion than we have when we have been mid ship. I would book this cabin again. Read Less

What a great cabin. Book this one if you can!! The cabin felt pretty small, but our balcony was HUGE - I would estimate it at 10 x 10. An Aft view is perfect. We only felt the engines one time - when we were docking back at Port Everglades. Otherwise it was beautiful. We had 3 people in the cabin and it wasn't quite big enough. With the sofa bed pulled out, we couldn't get to the balcony, which was unfortunate. But if you are booking for 2, don't hesitate!! This cabin was one of 8 that had a balcony that was both covered and exposed. Most of the other aft balconies were fully exposed. Read Less

We had a deluxe balcony and it was the smallest balcony cabin that we have ever had. However they boost – “deluxe amenities you'd expect from a first class hotel” - really?!. There is not sufficient storage space and we had to keep most of our clothes in our suitcases under the bed. The sitting area is so small that you can’t sit at the desk and have someone sit on the sofa. Speaking of the sofa it was the smallest one that I have ever had and barely seats 2 people. You can’t even use the TV remote while seating on the sofa so you are forced to watch TV on the bed. Speaking of which with such a new ship the mattress needs replacement. Getting to the balcony – I don’t know how they call this a deluxe larger balcony! It was soooo small. Read Less
