This is my first cruise since the pandemic. This is also my first European cruise and my 8th cruise. I stayed in Barcelona for 4 days before the cruise and loved the city so much. Embarkation was a breeze, even easier than in Florida. First day was so busy but managed to get my early dinner sorted out. The dining room staff was very kind and helpful. I enjoyed the food in the dining room ...
There is for breakfast and lunch massive queues, as Windjammer is too small for capacity of the ship. Apparently capacity of the passangers is 4200, Windjammer can hold I think roughly 1000.I stayed hungry or eating any food which I dislike as I couldn't get trough the counter l...
Booked suites which is basically slightly large than balcony, not even sofa bed, only old dirty sofa. Ship is old ...
Chose this ship as we loved Oasis and other RCL cruises. This one however was torturous with the amount of noise around the pool decks from the really loud amplified music to the blaring screeching voice on the microphone. Even in Central Park 5 decks down we could not escape the noise and even the brass band could not be heard over the voice commentary from deck 15. The promenade deck had ...
We chose this cruise because of the itinerary that included Iceland and Greenland, and the price (we travel a lot, before the Jewel, we spent weeks in Europe and since this cruise we spent 6 weeks in Singapore, Hong Kong, and China), since we have to watch the budget. We enjoyed the itinerary, and overall the experience was good. The crew worked hard and the service was good.
We loved ...
The food was mediocre at best.
The itinerary was why we chose this cruise. I have been around long enough to know that the new, splashy ships have the least interesting itineraries, and the older tired ships have the most interesting itineraries. However, I did not expect the older ship to offer subpar food and experiences.
The salad dressings had no flavor at all, and the soups were just ...
We chose this cruise primarily because of the itinerary. We are not novice cruises, having done over 60 of them. The ship is older, but appears to be well maintained for the most part. Embarktation was slow, stood in line for over an hour before we boarded. We had a balcony cabin that was spacious and featured good storage. Most employees try very hard to please, but overall management is ...
Cleaning of rooms only once a day.
You can choose either in the morning or in the evening.
Very poor desserts, both in the buffet and in the restaurant on the 3rd floor.
We tried breakfast at the restaurant on the 4th floor. We won't do it anymore.
There was a very small selection of food.
Price of drinks includes service charge.
The quality of the food, not like in the past. At ...
We have cruised with P&O, RC Symphony of the Seas, Virgin Scarlet lady, Morella, and by far this was the worst ship we have ever been on, this ship is well past its sell by date, falling apart, outdated.
Entertainment was the worst I have ever seen, butlins is much better, people walking out 10 mins into shows, what really annoys me is that this was the 2nd most expensive cruise we have been ...

The cruise was great, great entertainment and specialty restaurant food. The ship is amazing. Wonderland was fun and good. Ports were good. Excursions were not great. I would make my own itinerary and save the money. We paid for The Key which didn't really allow us to much special advantages. There was supposed to be special boarding privileges but we went in with the rest of the crowd. There was ...
