Loved the Transatlantic experience on Odyssey! This was our first TA and it was better than expected. This ship has so many different venues so we had plenty to do with 5 consecutive sea days. Flew to Athens, Greece. Spent 3 nights sight seeing. Boarded the ship. Embarkment was easy and quick. Had a great lunch in the Windjammer buffet. Food choices were plentiful and delicious. My wife and I celebrated her birthday and our retirement. We had a great time visiting ports in Italy, Greece and Turkey. Unfortunately we had to reroute from Israel due to the war. We were very impressed with this older ship, despite the fact that it could do with some further updating and is a little tired looking. Unlike other reviews the staff is very friendly and helpful. We (6 persons) have not once met or encountered an unfriendly staff member. Service at the main dining hall is excellent, personal and friendly. Our waiters Iputu and Kadek were very nice.
