I have sailed Anthem many times. Beautiful ship with outstanding staff. Shows were good.
Drinks are expensive $13 plus 20% for 150 ml. Dining experience good but sometimes very busy. Good choice of venues to eat at. Embarking and disembarking smooth.
We were in stateroom and could not get the internet in the cabin which was a bit annoying. Ca in only attended to once a day but that is ...
Originally, I chose this cruise because it was on the Brilliance OTS and had a golf course and a solarium pool with steps leading into it as my wife has a bad right arm and is waiting for a operation so being moved to the Enchantment meant no golf and not being able to get in the pool, so she was a bit upset but not the worst thing that could happen.
As it happens, and these events are no fault ...
I didn’t fancy going on a cruise but my husband did, so gave it a try. The stateroom was spacious, the room attendant couldn’t do enough for you. Food was great with a good choice, we ate in the main dining room every night but tried windjammer, El Loco Fresh Mexican restaurant, Cafe Promenade and solarium bistro for snacks or lunch with good selection, also ice cream kiosks. We are not big ...
DD and I enjoyed a wonderful round trip cruise to the lovely and breathtaking fjords of Norway. Our cruise took place in May at the beginning of the season, so we also were able to get a great price, and since I booked onboard during a previous cruise, I also got an incentive and help in choosing a cabin that turned out to be throughly enjoyable as well as a good value.

In a strange way, ships like the Explorer could be considered 'perfect' cruise ships. They have a little bit of everything. I read an article recently that said ships like Mariner of the Seas (and therefore Explorer) represent the best cruise value you can get at the moment. Everything you want is there, even if some of it could be improved to make it perfect.
The famous 'promenade' layout of ...
I was planning this cruise for a year, but was back and forth between this and the Grand Mediterranean visiting multiple cities, but was finally convinced Greece was it after multiple adds and pop ups on social media, and quickly became the must see location for 2023...and was so happy I did, this was my first cruise of three as I was doing back to back
I'm also happy Explorer was the ship, ...
My wife and I just returned from a week long cruise on the Symphony of the Seas out of Barcelona. We stayed in the 1 bedroom Aqua Suite (Sky class suite), my thoughts are detailed below:
Embarkation - absolutely amazing. Perhaps it was because we were in Suite Class or maybe RC has just really improved this since I first cruised with them, but we go onto the ship in about 5 minutes after ...
It’s been 7 years since we were on Allure of the Seas, and I’ve been waiting for a good deal on an Oasis class ship. This transatlantic cruise was priced so low that we were easily temped to book it.
There was only one port initially (Malaga), with the ship was heading for dry-dock afterwards.
A few weeks later we were pleased to learn another port (Valencia) has been added.
We arrived ...
We booked this ship because it was new, Oasis class and leaving from one of our favorite cities, Barcelona. The ship itself is beautiful, as only Royal Caribbean can do. It seems longer and wider than other Oasis Class ships like Symphony, Harmony , Oasis and Allure. Our crossing had 400+ passengers. Lots of Europeans, and a very small number of children. We also had over 250 Pinnicle status ...
We were originally booked on the Allure Westbound TA back in the fall of 2020 that was canceled a week after final payment was made. So we were very excited to be able to book the Allure Westbound TA for the fall of 2022. Then RCI canceled the Allure TA, but transferred everyone to the brand new Wonder of the Seas and for once I wasn't too disappointed in the change.
First off, my roommate ...
