Neither if you want all inclusive or like the American style. And if you are the type that always want to have more than you pay for you should perhaps choose another boat. What we enjoy so much on this unique ship is that very special atmosphere, we have never ever seen a ship that comes even close to this. When I walk on the ship at night I feel like Great Gatsby. You also meet new friends on a boat like this. There are so many interesting and friendly fellow travelers, you never ever run out of conversations topics. We became friends with two very nice Americans (after the cruise we have joined up once i Venice, and we also have visited them at Bermuda), we met a Swedish (we are also Swedish) couple that we visited as late as two nights ago, last year we met two couples from the southern part of Sweden, and we will see them both again i august 2018. This is not a cheap boat, but on the other hand you don not have to meet cheap and vulgar people. If you like style and nice people, this is the ship. Now, to be fair, the ship has perhaps two drawbacks. The food could be better. But this is said by one that has classic french cocking as major hobby. And the cabins below are small, so we travel upstairs. We want classic luxury, and are willing to pay for it. Read Less

We were very disappointed by this river cruise. It did not live up to our expectations and was not really worth the money paid. Entertainment was very limited, no deck games, evening entertainment was not varied and there was very little to do when on board. During our week the captain decided that the sundeck was to be sanded down. This caused considerable noise, dustiness and disruption, making the sundeck unusable for most of the time and seeing as the temperatures were in the high 30's it would have been preferable to sit outside rather than in the confines of our cabin. Even after complaining our points were ignored. However, cabins were well appointed and clean. Food was good but basic and not as gourmet as was expected from the write-up. There seems to be a high turnover of staff which made us wonder what the issues were. We will not be recommending this river ship to family and friends. Read Less
